Casino is very nice and spacious has newer machines and some good old ones as well. I like playing the Wheel Of Fortune Machines always been good to me. Would like to stay here sometime so I can leave a review for the rooms and services. So as for the Casino give them a try and win big!!!
As you walk into the hotel lobby, just the sight of that is amazing. We had great views all the way around the building. The casino had a ton of games. It was not crowded at all and had plenty of space to walk without bumping into other casino patrons.
Great stay. The hotel is welcoming and very well run. Lydia P was especially pleasant and helpful at breakfast. I noticed the staff here works very well together. The coffee was great and a nice selection of food. Our room was well appointed and very comfortable
Pretty decent venue all around, went to a late-spring concert here and had a decent time at the sold-out show. Parking was free and plentiful, there wasn't even much traffic given the number of people showing up all at once.
Food and beverage prices were at the expected inflated rates at the concert venue, but fairly reasonable inside the casino, which I explored for a brief period after the concert. It seems the casino closes early(for a casino) and the after-concert party was over before midnight. Boo.
I haven't rented a room and have not rated that. The staff were all respectful, but there were an excessive amount of 'security' guards for this particular concert. Nearly elderly people were subjected to cavity searches, and boy did they find them. LOTS of cavities in them old folks' teeth. ha-HA
Nice bathrooms near the main bar, too. Yep.
Sandia Casino is a very pretty area to gamble and there are many slot machines to play. However I have noticed slot machines do not let players to win. Seems like the slot machines eat money too fast. I do not feel very pleasure to play or to enjoy to play. I have had played slot machines in other locations. I enjoyed playing the more to stay there longer and I won money more or less. Unfortunately this casino is not the best to play. Lose more money and go home with empty pockets I do not want to go back there anymore. This casino is not for fun at all.
I came for the first time ever, besides Las Vegas NV, I haven't done much of anything but this place was awesome, the drinks where great, food was available also. The customer service was superior compared to any service I have had at an establishment like this. Will definitely love to come back again.
We came to Sandia Sports Bar to watch the Kentucky Derby. We sqt at the bar and I asked for a mint julip, i was informed they did not have mint. I told them that was the reason we had chosen this bar to watch the race. I pondered what to drink and ended up with an amazing long Island iced tea. The bartender, London, came over shortly after with this beautiful mint julip, see photo! She definitely we above and beyond to accommodate me as a guest and I want to make sure she is recognized for doing so!!! She totally made my day and that feeling is what brings customers back. Well that and this view (see pic)
This is by far the nicest looking casino around here. The prices are kind of high being that they want you in there to gamble not really eat. Staff looks like they hate being there and are just waiting for the shift to be over. Parking is good. They used to comp things like rooms and good but only if you spend a run of money gambling. If you don't your not getting anything
