Best WLM Reviews

San Pedro Fish Market has long been a cherished spot for seafood lovers, and my experiences there have consistently been delightful. Their famous shrimp trays are nothing short of spectacular, loaded with succulent, perfectly seasoned shrimp that never fail to impress. The generous portions and fresh ingredients make every visit a treat.
The atmosphere at San Pedro Fish Market is vibrant and welcoming. Even with the recent closure of their main location, the charm has seamlessly transferred to their new pop-up right across from the old site. The pop-up maintains the lively, bustling vibe that regulars have come to love, ensuring that the spirit of the original location lives on.
While I miss the old location, the new setup has its own appeal and is a testament to the resilience and dedication of the San Pedro Fish Market team. The service remains friendly and efficient, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family and friends.
Overall, San Pedro Fish Market continues to deliver an exceptional seafood experience. The shrimp trays alone are worth the visit, and the energetic atmosphere enhances the dining experience. Four stars for consistently providing delicious food and a wonderful ambiance, even in their new pop-up location.
We got a little confused as to finding this place. We saw a whale watching booth where the address led us and started to walk along the path, only to find out we were behind the restaurant. Nice views of the ocean, though.
Quick service after ordering using the QR code on their table. Drinks were immediately served. Which is pretty neat. The food was good but not the best tasting seafood. We got the rockfish tacos and the fried shrimp. Overall, it was a good experience.
Huge open area that is great for groups and sunny weather. There’s a paid parking lot at the entrance that is about $8 for an hour. They are known for their Shrimp Platter and it’s a pretty good deal for the amount of food that you get. Plenty of potatoes and the single serving is plenty for two. I also got the Chowder and it was classic and pretty good. Service was friendly and welcoming too!
Honestly, you'll be paying for the vibe and experience. Get there early and avoid the crowds. The meals are pricey, and not to mention that $50 (6-pk), which comes in that giant plastic suvenior bottle. Pay for the 2 hour parking and enjoy a leisure walk around their trails or take the 45 min. boat ride around the harbor instead.
Yes they’re under construction.
The food here was great. Got some oysters which my wife said were amazing.
Ordering is not hard at all. You scam the QR code on the table. Order. Then they come bring food. I paid with Apple Pay.
Got drinks meanwhile. Food came in 15 min.
Calamari:
I love calamari so I had to get it. Came with a delicious tartar sauce (I got an extra one) and it tasted great. When you get to the last few calamari it does have oil on bottom. But other than that it tasted genuine, clean, tasty, and crunchy!
Shrimp potatoes and garlic bread:
Shrimp tasted good I got it with the signature sauce. I think next time I’ll try another one. I like more savory sauces. Garlic bread was good but next time I’ll get tortilla.
Atmosphere:
To get in there’s a line. The more people leave the more people they let in. Took us about 10-15 min to get inside. The line got super long behind us.
They give you a band for alcoholic drinks.
The area is a bunch of lunch cafeteria tables since it is under construction. So it’s not by the pier anymore.
The guy told us next month in June they’d move to a different area but for now it’s here.
Not really a vibe sadly. I was disappointed but with a few drinks in me felt like I was at Disneyland.
Prices are good. Total for two 32oz beers was 34.
For the food mentioned was 47$
Drinks are great! They got strawberry/mango/pineapple margaritas. Beers. Fountain drinks.
Porta potties ! No normal restrooms and they are dirty.
A One of a kind experience that only Fishermans Market can offer. It's been a long tradition in my family to eat here when we visit and we continue to do so even after the relocation. I highly recommend making reservations with or without an event being planned. Drink options are great and the food is always made to order and fresh. Truly a seafood lovers haven. The Oysters were fresh and a great size, with a very reasonable price compared to other locations that offer fresh oysters. Come with an empty stomach if you plan to order any of the tray options. We went with the super tray that fed 4 or more. I highly encourage a visit.
The atmosphere is changed because the building is gone and you’re sitting outside on tables under umbrellas but the new building will come back the atmosphere will be back .I drove 90 miles to eat here
I watched a video about this place thinking the experience would be like the one in the video. As a reviewer I should have checked Yelp /Google reviews first right? Wrong I did not! I was too excited to check it out.
The video showcased a fish market where you chose and pick out all the seafood you want in plain sight then they cook it for you. That’s not how it was. My experience was, you go in, you see a bunch of tables, find a place to sit, order via QR code by phone. That’s the entire experience.
It was disappointing, because the video really hyped me up to get the experience but the food was still good. The price can hike up as you add on to your platter. The presentation wasn’t as good either but that’s what we had to work with. The good thing about the place is the parking fee was not bad at all. So we that was cool.
I was told they were renovating to make like the old fish market again. But, I don’t know…I probably won’t come back here again unless it changes to something better.
