While a little larger and busier than some airports it is easy to navigate with a couple lounges and plenty of shopping options. Friendly and efficient staff. Alot of great art throughout the airport.
Amazing airport with the BEST bathrooms which is nice. Doors open out you can actually go inside with out feeling you’re being reborthed. Lots of hooks to hang your coat back pack and purse. Tons of high end shops like COACH and FRYERs and excellent restaurants for a pint or for a really healthy snack. And RECYCLING bins. Easy to get around and no crazy twists and turns from one end to the other for your next gate! Didn’t mind at all having a layover here.

I love this new airport! They totally rebuilt the whole thing, and they have more plans to update more areas. The cool thing about it is that they agreed to have mostly "local" restaurants be the eateries in the airport. So lots of local faves from Utah are found here! The security is fairly quick to navigate through. Their is fun things that pay tribute to Utah as well in the airport! The airport is also located in a place that is usually easy to get too! Not too much traffic to get to the airport!
Great airport. Getting better all the time. Clean. Clear directions/signage. Clean. Great security line. Great parking/waiting area.
My only complaint is airport security needs to just ticket people for parking when their passengers aren't at the curb. It's a complete mess when there is plenty of great parking to wait for people.
Update: New tunnel coming Fall 2024. People still park illegally on the common roadways. Use the Park and Wait people!!!!
The Salt Lake City airport is simple, clean, and has sufficient eating/shopping options. Navigating the airport was fairly easy but you may have a long walk depending on the gate. There are car rental counters onsite and we were able to grab a car quickly. I flew in/out in November and appreciated the beautiful views of the mountains and the Christmas trees from the runway.
First time here, the airport and the city. Very nice landscape, with the snow capped mountains all around. The airport itself is well layed out, roomy and lots of very good food choices. Ate at PF Chang for lunch, then Rockwell ice cream next door.
When I visited Salt Lake City Airport, I was greeted like I felt welcome, also the bathroom is the best structure system especially the toilet divider are way better than any airports due to private settings, please any Airport should look like this! Not only that it’s clean, sink, toilet & floor are well maintained. That’s just what I have experienced, so any individual would like to visit Salt Lake City, I recommended, due to TSA friendly, Enterprise Rental has a great service, and the Vendors are resourceful. I know there’s more to add, but I am just amazed with this place!
