Thanksgiving brunch at the Rusty Pelican was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious, perfectly cooked, and exceeded our expectations in every way. Thomas, our server, was fantastic, so knowledgeable and friendly, offering excellent menu recommendations that we loved. The atmosphere here is breathtaking, making the entire experience unforgettable. We always enjoy coming here and can’t recommend it enough!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this luxurious restaurant with an absolutely spectacular view of downtown Miami and the beautiful water. From the moment I arrived, the valet service made me feel like a VIP, setting the tone for a truly unforgettable dining experience.
The ambiance of the restaurant was elegant and sophisticated, with floor-to-ceiling windows allowing for breathtaking views of the city skyline and the sparkling waterfront. It was the perfect backdrop for a romantic dinner or a special celebration.
But it was the food that truly stole the show. Each dish was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. From the fresh seafood to the perfectly cooked steaks, every bite was a culinary delight. The menu offered a wide variety of options, ensuring that there was something for every palate.

The Rusty Pelican is a gem! The food was incredible, the waterfront views were stunning, and the ambiance was perfect. A special shoutout to our server, Yamilet I believe it was, who made the night unforgettable. We couldn’t believe it was her first day on the job ! —she was attentive, friendly, and handled everything like a pro. Big kudos to her!!

I was visiting Miami and visited this restaurant on a recommendation. The ambiance, service and food were excellent. I tried a unique "Cuban Sandwich" which comes with poached eggs. I wasn't disappointed. The view of the Miami skyline is probably the best reason to visit. It's spectacular. My only reservation is the pricey menu, but honestly all of Miami seems to be expensive now. Definitely recommend, especially if you're not on a budget.
My boyfriend took me to this restaurant for my birthday, and it was an incredible experience, largely thanks to our waiter, Joshua. He was super attentive, making our visit both fun and relaxed. Joshua had a great sense of timing, maintaining eye contact so we could easily order drinks or ask for help without any delay. My boyfriend would just make eye contact with him, and Joshua knew exactly what we needed.
He was knowledgeable about the menu and had a friendly yet chill vibe that made us feel right at home. For me, food and drinks are important, but as long as they’re decent, it’s always the service that shapes my visit more than anything else—and Joshua definitely made me want to come back! He was professional while also being real and authentic, and it felt like we got to know him on a personal level. I was very impressed!
As someone who’s worked in restaurants for many years, I know how difficult it can be to balance professionalism, attentiveness, and friendliness while keeping things relaxed for the customers. Joshua nailed it! We left talking about how happy we were with both the food and the service, and we’ll definitely return because of how much he shaped our experience!
Dined here while on a business trip. Everything from our drinks and appetizers to our dinner entrees were perfectly prepared. Also the service was beyond exceptional. I wish I would've caught our servers name. (He was Italian and tall) He along with at least 2 other of the staff checked in often ensuring we were enjoying ourselves and not in need of anything. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I certainly would for Rusty Pelican Miami. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Our server Marcell was outstanding; making an already great meal into truly remarkable dining experience. He took care of us by making recommendations on dishes that suited our taste while also encouraging us to be more adventurous. I recommend Rusty Pelican 5 out of 5.
We had a business lunch with 6 people. I love the views and thought it was the perfect place to take our colleagues from out of town. We had a great server, Alberto Suarez, who was very friendly. He recommended appetizers, entrees, and helped up finish up our meal with delicious key lime pie. The atmosphere was very relaxing. The experience was enjoyed by all. I highly recommend this place for groups or small parties.
