The best part of my 3-day trip was the fact that it was on the Boardwalk. Although that used to mean a lot more years ago when the Boardwalk was lively, I prefer to stay on the Boardwalk properties.
We checked in and upgraded to a "suite." The suite was smaller than the room we typically stay in (we stay at Resorts 3-4 a year). The rooms are very outdated and we expect this. The check in process was quick but it did not feel personal at all. We visited 3 other hotels on our trip and we would much rather have stayed at either of the other properties.
The Casino floor seemed to be dying. I struck a conversation with 2 security officers and they said they used to have a staff of 100 per day. They are down to 25.
We wound up eating breakfast at Breadsticks on the last morning of our stay. It was the highlight of the trip. The food was good but the wait to get in was unreasonable.
I will probably give Resorts one more try.
Great hotel, that provides quality service. From check in to check out, we had great service. Rooms are good. We were in the R Tower. Easy access to the Casino floor and snacks area. We saw a show at the Hard Rock. The easy walkway makes staying At Resorts a choice everytime.
Cynthia was fantastic. She made it such a great experience. The food was very delicious. We had the special rib eye which came with crab meat and asparagus. The calamari was good too. We would definitely come back. Overall a great experience.
I’ve been a loyal guest of this hotel casino for about five years, but my most recent experience was deeply disappointing. Upon arriving and entering my mini suite in the Ocean Tower, I immediately noticed an issue. The bathroom door was closed, and when I opened it, I was overwhelmed by the strong odor of smoke and marijuana.
I promptly contacted the front desk to report this and was assured that the issue would be noted on my reservation and that I would not be charged. Despite this assurance, at approximately 8:45 AM on the day of check-out, I found a notice under my door stating that I had been charged a $500 smoking fee.
I went to the front desk to dispute the charge and was told there was nothing they could do. They advised me to email the manager instead. As someone in the hospitality industry myself, I find this response unacceptable—especially for a property of this size and reputation. There should always be a manager or supervisor available to address guest concerns immediately.
This experience has left me with the impression that the business practices at this establishment are unfair and poorly managed. I know of other casino resorts that operate with greater integrity and professionalism. Regrettably, due to this situation, I will no longer be returning to this property.
Food was excellent! Very enjoyable. Nice atmosphere. The evening’s specials were all delicious and the recommendations were excellent. The steak special was wonderful!! The burrata ravioli was perfect. Make sure to leave room for desserts.
Here for a conference for work. Great space for a big conference. Beautiful view from conference rooms. Great location with lots to do within walking distance. Hotel staff are great!!!! Rooms are slightly outdated and could use a refresh!
Room was spotless. Housekeeper extended pleasant welcome and to call her if we needed anything. Beautiful view of the ocean and full moon at night. Wonderful breakfast. Fresh fruit, Danish, juice and coffee Couldn't have asked for more!❤️
Went on a bus trip from home. It was great. We got to see a great show, had a good meal spent some money on the slots and had a wonderful time. The casino was clean. There was plenty of security and there was not a lot of people smoking.
