When I read these reviews, which are so good, I’m amazed. We’ve been coming to red Hawk for over eight years since it opened, everything has declined, service, food quality, casino, atmosphere, and slot payouts are definitely much tighter. the general opinion of all of us that have been around quite a while is That the hotel is a bust. and as is common in many casinos that add hotels… only gonna get worse!
Really beautiful area to drive into. Parking is free. People (both staff and players) are pleasant. Signed up for players card, the process was turn key. Within minutes I was given a players card and a free pack of used Diamond Back Bee Playing cards with the casino brand on them.
Fantastic marketing that made me feel like a winner before even sitting down to play.
We have always done well when we play here at Red Hawk. Last year, $4400 this year was $1200. We are only here once a year while camping in Coloma. I like the non-smoking ???? area downstairs. The games are clean. The downstairs area has been changed to add table games. You still have to walk through the smoking areas to get out. There are free vend soda and coffee machines. We didn't make it to the Apex game area.
Right off Highway 50, easy off and on. We didn't stay in the hotel so I didn't rate them.
I took the coach bus here for the day and had so much fun! I don't ever gamble but had an absolute blast! They offer a deal when taking their coach bus 10$ free slots and 10$ off buffet and let me say the buffet was top tier! All around I highly suggest this package!
5 STARS: Red Hawk Casino hands down is the best casino of the BIG 4 in the valley. I have not won a jackpot so far, but walk out ahead almost every time. And Donald was a big help helping me find the NFL slot machine. Great fun.
We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The front desk staff is super friendly and we loved how modern everything was. The only thing that throws me off is the yellow toilet water throughout the entire casino and I was surprised to notice it in the hotel as well. Other than that, we were very comfortable. I do recommend booking ahead of time!
This place is really kinda of a cluster. The staff look like they are in a county jobs program and a lot of the patrons, that beg for money or try to sell you whatever they stole from CVS, make it look like a methadone clinic. VIP doesn’t communicate with the hotel and genius hotel employees don’t think to call VIP when they can’t find your reservation. I’m not going to beg or jump through hoops to lose thousands at your establishment. Then you get the whole “I’m sorry, I’m sorry we didn’t see it” yeah I’m good on the whole “Red Hawk” experience too many better options to put up with this amateur spot ✌️.
I love this casino! They have the older slots which I prefer they have self serve coffee and soda which is great!! Other casinos it’s hard to find the “cart lady with drinks” so I end up so thristy all evening their valet parking looks so nice with waterfalls down rock just lovely very clean and attentive
