I was in the area and when selecting where to eat, their buffet came up. The reviews were good so we gave it a try. It didn’t disappoint. Very good service at the cashier and the lady who was seating us. Also the day we went it was $15 per person with players card which you can obtain upstairs, so definitely great deal for your bucks. They are open for lunch till about 3pm and then start serving dinner at 4pm. We got there around 3 and thought we would have to wait until 4, but they graciously seated us which was awesome, otherwise we would have to leave as we were too hungry. The food was good and people working there were top notch when it comes to service. The Christmas decor added to the beautiful ambiance and seats by the windows have great views
I like the comps at Red Hawk and their hotel is pretty convenient and new! The Verona Coffeehouse is very convenient while you are at the casino at redhawk. They’re open all day and night for when you want something quick to eat and cheap also with such a wide variety. Perfect place to use your comps and if you’re not planning on dining. I like the convenience and options. From breakfast, lunch, dinner and international cuisine. Don’t expect too much though, the food is not bad and the line may take awhile because everyone uses their comps here. Me and my parents like to get half a sandwich and soup usually and we’ll get some pastries. They have salads, Asian, Mexican, all American food options. You can dine there or order to go and there’s plenty of seating. No point in buying a drink when you can get free drinks on the floor. The workers are working as fast as they can and it gets really busy here.
Compared to the other casinos in the area..RED HAWK RESORT + CASINO is # 1. Thanksgiving Day Buffet was the best I've ever had and will choose them instead of going to someone house for the holidays! The food and non-smoking area are on the same floor with easy access to them. The APEX and Kid area were alot of fun! The winners are all around you! Lots of fun!
The casinos are not fun anymore. No one is having fun. Zombie land of people just losing money. Place is bright, lots of games of choice. The sparkle of having a fun time at the casinos are gone. Machines are not hitting, ever. People want excitement, looser slots, you'll still make your money, but man.... its sad.
Always a good time at Red Hawk. Love that there is a new hotel. Haven't stayed yet but probably in the near future. APEX is our kids favorite place for go cart racing. Wish there were more restaurant choices.

Their reward system is flawed. My partner and I swiped at a kiosk when we arrived and I was able to redeem a 777 reward that his said he needed to play 777 points the day of to redeem. Why did he have to earn it that day when I was able to redeem it without playing that day? (Not the issue.) We both had more than 777 points overall when we got there, so it wouldn't have been that. When we swiped later, it showed he had earned over 600 points that day, so we kept playing to get him there. An hour later when we swiped again, he only had 438 points. They were able to verify on their end that he had not used or transferred any points that day. So how did he lose hundreds of points in an hour when you aren't supposed to be losing points at all unless redeemed/transferred? Make it make sense Redhawk. We aren't even upset about the reward, I just don't understand the discrepancy and their nonchalance regarding it. If I were to return, I would feel the need to take a photo of every time I swiped, or earned points on a machine, just so I would have proof if there was a glitch/fluke again. And that's just absurd to me.
Arrived way later than planned, about 3:30am, and the hotel checked us right in with no problem! Walking into to foyer I was impressed with the layout and design right away! The high ceilings and open floor plan really worked! My eyes were drawn to the large, arty lighting fixtures coming down from the ceiling! They looked like enormous cornucopias! The host explained that the tribal members created all the beautiful fixtures and designed the pieces themselves! The rooms were open and spacious and expertly decorated! Loved my stay!!
