Queens Center is an impressive shopping destination that truly caters to a wide range of shoppers. Located conveniently in Elmhurst, this mall has something for everyone, whether you’re looking for popular fashion brands, dining options, or even a quick shopping spree. As a frequent visitor, I can confidently say it’s one of the best shopping centers in the Queens area. Here’s why:
1. Wide Range of Stores:
Queens Center houses an extensive variety of stores, including well-known names like Macy’s, JCPenney, Uniqlo, Zara, and H&M. Whether you’re shopping for clothes, electronics, beauty products, or gifts, this mall offers an abundance of options. The layout makes it easy to navigate, with stores organized in a way that feels intuitive. There are also specialty shops like Pandora and Bath & Body Works that add to the unique shopping experience.
2. Great Dining Options:
The food court at Queens Center is a standout feature. With a mix of fast-food chains like Chick-fil-A and Shake Shack, alongside healthier options and international cuisines, there’s something for everyone. If you’re looking for a sit-down meal, restaurants like The Cheesecake Factory offer a more relaxed atmosphere. Plus, there are plenty of coffee and dessert spots like Starbucks and Häagen-Dazs for a quick pick-me-up during your shopping trip.
3. Accessibility and Convenience:
The mall is easily accessible via public transportation, with multiple subway and bus lines stopping nearby. For drivers, there’s a parking garage, though it can get a bit crowded during peak hours. That said, the convenience of location makes it an excellent choice for both locals and visitors. The mall is also wheelchair accessible, with elevators and wide pathways to ensure everyone can shop comfortably.
4. Clean and Well-Maintained Environment:
One of the first things you’ll notice about Queens Center is how clean and well-maintained it is. The mall management does an excellent job of keeping the common areas tidy, even during busy weekends. The restrooms are also well-kept, which is a big plus for families and travelers.
5. Events and Promotions:
Queens Center often hosts events and seasonal promotions, which add to the excitement of visiting. During the holidays, the mall is beautifully decorated, creating a festive shopping experience. Keep an eye out for sales, as many stores offer great deals, especially during holiday seasons or Black Friday.
6. Room for Improvement:
While Queens Center has many positives, there are a few areas that could be improved. The parking garage, while convenient, can become congested quickly. More signage directing shoppers to available spaces would be helpful. Additionally, the mall can get very crowded during weekends and holidays, so visiting during off-peak hours is recommended for a more relaxed experience.
Final Thoughts:
Queens Center is a must-visit for anyone in the New York City area who loves shopping or simply wants to enjoy a day out. The wide selection of stores, excellent dining options, and convenient location make it a top-tier shopping destination. Whether you’re a local or a tourist, this mall is worth checking out. Just plan your visit during off-peak times if you want to avoid the crowds!
Would highly recommend Queens Center for its versatility and vibrant atmosphere.
Had a fantastic experience working with Queens Center for our Santa visit in the mall this year! The venue was perfect for creating a festive and magical atmosphere, and the staff there were just amazing. They were super professional and really went outta their way to help us set up and ensure everything ran smoothly.
Big shoutout to the Queens Center team for being so accommodating and supportive. They truly helped make our job easier and the event a big success. Thanks again for a wonderful collaboration from all of us at Magical Memories Entertainment!

This mall is huge ???? its got everything you need and looking for and more. A lots of variety items, an variety of different types of food ???? ' elevators ???? ' electrics escalators . Restrooms ???? in every floor.
Just nice enough ???? ????
Nice mall with Macy's as an anchor store. A few crafty stores, Farmers market on certain day of the week.
Yeah this mall is so great, much better than Roosevelt field mall and green acres if you been. Only thing is I’m the type of individual to get lost and it was hard to find the food court. Ended up just dipping and grabbing a bite to eat elsewhere. There’s a parking lot by the entrance for the mall but it ain’t free. It’s like 4 dollars for an hour and then it goes up by 2 bucks. I might stop by again I wish it was a lil easier to get there in a car and it’s an hour away from me and you know how gas be.
Website in the entire mall would not work. It smelled like dead rats. I couldn't believe how everywhere I went. It was nothing but rude. People angry that I was buying something.
been going here for years and honestly giving it 4 stars is generous. I’ve had lots of fun here and it’s a great mall with lots of food and shopping but honestly the amount of times I’ve gone here and something wild has happened is too many. Between the hours of 2-5 on a weekday is where all the highschoolers will be and the food court is packed. Twice I’ve gone and the fire alarm is going off and everyone is proceeding as normal because it goes off way too often ????♀️ it was going off for at least 20 minutes and then they make an announcement it’s a false alarm. gone here over spring break and they had to block the escalator to food court because these kids got into a fight, and i had to go elsewhere to eat. the time I could actually sit and eat in the food court some girl dropped her “adult toy” from Spencer’s down from the 1st floor into the food court and it landed on someone’s food ????. honestly the rest of the shops are great but it’s honestly the kids who go here make the experience a lot less enjoyable.
