I was there for the souf in ya mouf tour. The show was AMAZING!! THE STAFF AND SERVICE WERE TERRIBLE. They forgot my girl food completely, the drinks got smaller and smaller ????????????, and the bathroom was trifling. I tipped like always only to be given a bill later that included gratuity. (Not that its a problem, just mentioning). They had one lady doing EVERYTHING besides cooking. I didn't even get to taste they food cause my date was hungry and I gave her my food. She didnt get hers till the last 5 mins of the show.....All in all 3 out of five..
We went to this club to see the comedian TBarb. The show was great, along with the rest of the acts. Show started very late, which was a little annoying for me. Parking is horrible. Gotta get there early to get a spot, and if you're going to the late show,i don't know how you'd get a spot unless you use the valet.
We sat in the cheap seats off to the side, which still gave us a pretty good view.
Bottom line: The acts were funny, the venue cozy, just didn't like the long delay or the parking.
Went last week to see Justin whitehead. It was a great show. The other comedians was good as well. Only down side is that they didn’t have enough servers and bartenders for food and drinks. But they apologized and try their best to accommodate which I understand. Also go early because the parking is hectic. It
Remind be of a hole in the wall comedy club where you can see a lot of comedians before they actually make it big. Love the atmosphere tho. Definitely will go again. Oh the food and drinks was fire!
Had an awesome time at the comedy show. Seating is limited...and a bit tight, but overall it was worth the hour dive to see the live show. Food and drinks are available for purchase. There is lounge/bar next to it. The music there was a bit loud making it hard to hear the comic at times.
Bathrooms were clean
Parking is first come first serve and tight.
Doors were supposed to open at 730, but the DJ was 30 mins late so they didn’t seat us til 8pm. General seating was cramped and uncomfortable, but for 10 bucks more you could actually get a spot that fits an adult human. If you don’t pay the extra money you won’t get served, so you should consider it; not to mention they made fun of general for being mad because of the sub human service.
In the 3 hours I was there before I left, the wait staff never glanced our way and we didn’t even get offered a glass of water. A terrible, dehumanizing, and shameful experience and look forward to never going to this place ever again. I’m sure there are better places to spend your time and money.
I can’t stress this enough, AVOID THIS PLACE! Unless you want to feel what segregation was like, which is crazy since this is a black owned establishment. I wish I could give it zero stars.
They need a bigger location and more organization. Loved the show didn't get to get any food or drinks for that matter. No wait staff came to our whole section. That's a bunch of money missed.
I went for a comedy show and had a TERRIBLE experience. My boyfriend and I ordered food and never got our full order. We asked for ranch TWICE and they still never brought it…and had to remind the server to bring our waters. I never got my food and our server was rude and not attentive. This was my first time here and I’m definitely not coming back. If I could rate 0 stars I would.
I bought vip tickets to kerwin Claiborne show and after telling 6 ppl that work there, telling the host who announced it on stage, talking to manager and owner, no one ever came to take our order. We were finally offered drink after the headliner was on stage. I'll never go back.
