Wow!! I’ve never visited to Porto’s in Glendale at Brand Blvd before but Somebody bought the pumpkin pie delivered to my house which was super awesome delicious so satisfying!! You can’t go wrong!! Thanksgiving dessert was great!! Busier than usual. Long time business over 50 years served kindness employees. Highly recommend for me to go to Porto’s for the first time!! Sandwiches, desserts, coffees, teas and gifts as well!! I really like this area so much!!
I was walking around to find Starbucks and stumbled by this place, figured I’d give it a try and I’m not disappointed. From the moment you walking in, the atmosphere changes you. The smell of the bakery items. The employees that make you feel very welcomed. I had Deniss R, helping me and she was amazing. I told her it was my first time here, since I’m just visiting so she gave me a little background about the place. She was super friendly and nice, definitely deserves an accommodation.
It works because it's good and stays busy.
Cuban inspired food, everything is made fresh and the deserts are fantastic. I'd recommend avoiding the empenadas and go for something a tad more flavorful. Overall a great experience. The chicken was cooked juicy and not dry. Beans had good flavor.

Porto's in Glendale is hands down one of my favorite spots to visit! From the moment you walk in, the delicious smells of freshly baked pastries and savory treats greet you. Their Cuban sandwiches are incredible—perfectly seasoned, with tender meat and a great balance of flavors. The potato balls and guava pastries are also must-tries!
The staff is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is always lively, especially during peak hours. Although it can get a bit busy, it's totally worth the wait. Whether you're grabbing something quick to go or sitting down to enjoy a meal, Porto's never disappoints.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing Cuban food and pastries!
This place had such an amazing selection at very affordable prices!!! I tried several of the breads and I really loved the coconut and almond ones. I also got a taro latte that was delicious. The staff was very efficient and got everyone through despite lines being wrapped around the cafe. Will definitely be on my list to visit next time I’m in town!!
I've been a customer for years. I love Porto's! I was friends with the executive pastry chef and can tell you first hand how they love what they do. Every pastry, cake, bread, and hot food item I've tried has been so amazing and flavourful. If you don't mind waiting a few minutes for some amazing products and love to share a warm and inviting atmosphere, then Porto's is the place for you. BTW buy several potato balls and a Cuban sandwich! My personal favorite!????
Pre-order online to skip the queue. But even if you queue, they move so fast, it only takes a few mins to be served. It opens early and the queue is up to the doors.

I visited Porto's for the first time and it did not disappoint. First off, I wanted to order one of everything. As that is not feasible or sane, I ordered the new cinnamon roll. WHOA! It was like a cinnamon roll and a croissant had a delicious baby. I have a bit of a sweet tooth. Based on experience, this was hands down the best cinnamon roll I have ever had. The cream cheese frosting was so unique and delicious. It wasn't super thick but it wasn't runny either. It was the perfect consistency. The chunks of cinnamon and the flaky roll were just *chef's kiss*. I cannot wait to go back to Porto's!!!
