First time having deep wish so I read this was the place to go; wasn’t blown away. It was just ok. The crust was the best part.
You need to know what you want to order before you get there. The service is fast but the pizza takes a while. The price is also reasonable for such a well known place. Reservations are highly encouraged
Unsung hero; The Buffalo wings were STELLAR 10/10. I like my wings crunchy and bread-y tho. Perfect bar wing.
Had the best pizza I've ever had at this place! I don't usually eat pizza, but since I was in town, I decided to try it. 10/10 I'd go back
By some miracle, I was able to dine in and got seated very fast. The service I received was also fast and accurate. the waiter i had was super nice and friendly. They helped give recommendations and were also very informative when I had questions. The atmosphere was nice and family-friendly with a busy but steady workflow as well.
Definitely try the other food as well aside from the pizza, you won't be disappointed either!
This was our second time eating here. Both times, the Chicago style pizza was amazing. This time, we added pepperoni, sausage, meatballs, and Italian beef. It was so rich, delicious, and heavy that we could obit eat half of the medium pizza that we purchased.
Unfortunately, the quality of service has gone down a little. Our first time there it was packed, and the service was perfect. This time, they were steady in terms of the number of tables, but it was definitely not as busy as last time.
For atmosphere, the place needs a good deep cleaning and a feel replacements and repairs for the decor.
Hopefully, they'll make the investment and be around for many more years!
This is amazing! This tops my favorites by far.. The Pan Pizza is too die for! Anytime I come through Chicago, this will be a stop everytime!

Had to stop in here and see what all the fuss was about. This place was recently rated The best deep dish in the country? Being a Chicagoan born and raised I know a thing or two about deep dish pizza. Is it the best deep dish I’ve ever had?? Absolutely not!!! On a scale of 1-10 I’ll give this pizza a 9.5.. the burnt crust on the outer edge sent me over the moon.. very delicious and it was ready for pick up sooner than they said.. I’ll be back again.. soon.. thanks so much
It lived up to the hype. A good thickness for a Chicago deep dish pizza. I would give Giordano's the edge when it comes to plain cheese, but the toppings is where Pequod's separates itself from the pack. Try the sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, and 1-2 other toppings of your choice. Smalls are good for sharing with 2 people. The jalapeño poppers were also a great appetizer - excellent cheese inside of them.
Voted best pizza in the US for a very good reason. Absolutely stellar flavor, not as thick as lous but I'd call that a good thing.
If you're going to get pizza from here I recommend ordering a day in advance. The place is too popular for its own good, trying to get a table is impossible unless you have a reservation
I would highly advise to order a day in advance for carryout.

Did a self guided pizza tour of Chicago last week. 12 spots in 3 days and Pequod’s lived up to the hype. Hands down the best pizza in Chicago. Thick fluffy crust, sweet but spicy sauce, plenty of cheese, and the pepperoni seemed to be hand cut for our pizza. If you like incredible pizza with the hole in the wall feel, this is the place. The spot on Clayborn is the perfect pizza spot. Sit at the bar, sit at a table, overall staff was awesome, and the Pizza is incredible!
