We really enjoyed our lunch at Peppermill. The restaurant was packed out for lunch and had a great "Vegas Diner" vibe. Be prepared for a long wait, it took more than an hour for our table of five to be seated but they do turn over tables very quickly. If you can, grab a seat in the lounge, it's a great place to grab a drink and/or an appetizer while you wait. We were lucky enough to get seats at the bar which included access to video slots and gaming, a great way to pass the time and a few of us even won a little money.
The menu had a great selection and we all had a difficult decision on whether to get lunch or one the amazing breakfast choices available all day. The cheese and fruit appetizer was more than enough for the whole table to share. The french toast breakfast was a popular choice and did not disappoint! Also the cheeseburger was highly recommended!
Service was quick and efficient and they even offer a "free" table photo. They do actually give you a souvenir photo, free, with the group picture included as a small thumbnail size in the 4x6 image. A 4x6 of the table pic itself was $20, which we bought and it turned out to be a favorite group picture from the trip. We very much enjoyed our visit to Peppermill.
Visited Vegas for the first time and this place kept coming up as the place to go for brunch. I knew when I spoke to an Uber driver and mentioned it, he asked how I knew about it and that this was the place the locals go! That was the confirmation I needed.
It was a great, retro vibe. Place is hopping but they move fast. Service was fantastic even though it was busy. Staff are working their tails off. High volume numbers but high quality service. Quick and attentive. This is very hard to do in such a busy establishment.
Food was excellent and huge portions. I just sat staring at all the amazing dishes going out. Will definitely be back next time I’m in town!
This is a very cool spot to check out on the north end of the strip! The decor is very funky and unique, I’d say even delightfully tacky. The staff were both welcoming and quick with service and getting orders in. My complaint is about the food itself. I ordered the coconut shrimp which came, room temperature… the taste was good but it being not hot was definitely a bummer! I also ordered a burger which I wanted medium-well. It was very well done and over cooked to the point it was hard to chew with the char. I would’ve sent it back but didn’t want to fool with waiting for another. I would say give it a try and come for breakfast… that’s what I will do if I return… or just go to the bar in the back, which is beautiful!!
So nice, I went twice for breakfast (in two days). Old school diner with really delicious and solid food! The standout winners are the blueberry muffins (hot & fresh with whipped butter), the crispy yet tender hash browns, and fluffy and flavorful pancakes the size of Texas!
They don’t take reservations but if there is a wait it is worth it! Staff are also excellent- nice and attentive. The extensive menu lets everyone find something they like and you can get breakfast lunch and dinner any time of day.
Went for a launch and wanted to try Peppermill on Sunday.
It’s a unique diner with good vibes. The food was ok like most diners.
There was a waiting list but I was seated at the bar immediately. However, the service was slow and took a while to ask for the bill.
I liked the place and I’m glad to visit it, but I wouldn’t come back.
It was a throwback to the 80s and we loved it! Make sure you have a drink on the bar before eating. reasonably priced BUT beware portions are huge. The nachos were over flowing! Def recommend for a meal!
Top-notch food and service! We arrived during dinner rush and our group of 6 was seated within 5 minutes and greeted by our waitress almost instantly. The food servings were huge and so delicious!
This is a solid 4 star place to eat at the strip. Totally recommended diner. They serve breakfast menu 24/7 so you can have pancakes anytime you want.
The o KY reason why I don't give it a 5 stars is that the places look super old (probably is) but it's gives you a shady atmosphere sensation. They could do better in that department.
Anyway, worth a visit.
