A great experience at the Peppermill during the F1 race! I can back up what many reviews say in that the portion sizes will not leave you hungry when you leave the Peppermill. I think this may be a sleeper gem along the strip that is a must visit while you are in the area. The vibe in the restaurant reminds me of the old school Vegas feel which I love & found to be very comfortable. The neons inside the restaurant, trees inside, and cool pattern on the ceiling is very cool.
The food was, as mentioned, very generous in portion sizes. The chicken noodle soup that came with the steak dinner was huge and also very good. It wasn’t out of a can, rather homemade which I enjoyed. The steak was very good and came with a large portion of garlic mushrooms on the side. The steak was very flavorful, the potato was good, and the side of mushrooms was great as well. We also got a breakfast for dinner and as can be seen in the picture the pancakes are larger than your hand. The sausages were also very big and everything in the breakfast was very good as well.
Overall I would recommend coming here and if I lived in the area I feel like I would come here pretty frequently.
They don’t take reservations for breakfast so we waited 40 minutes. There’s not a lot of space in their indoor waiting area so we waited outside with the masses.
NOTE: we later found out the lounge was open so we could have waited in there. What was I thinking.
The restaurant was extremely busy and it took our waitress 11 minutes to greet us. Fortunately the cocktail waitress came by a minute after we were seated which was nice. I tried their Hawaiian Sunset Mimosa. It was good but I would try something different next time. We asked the waitress what their signature breakfast items were so I tried the French Toast Ambrosia. This dish is massive and should be shared. This dish has three layers. The French toast is on the bottom. Fresh fruit is the middle layer. Then it’s all topped with a can of whipped cream. Wow!
It did taste good and I was surprised the French toast was warm when it arrived at the table. The restaurant has a lively vibe. The restaurant is located on the north side of the strip in between Dessert Inn Road and Elvis Presley Blvd.
The Peppermill delivered a great breakfast experience. The vibe was on point, the service was solid, and the food came out hot. The steak was cooked exactly how I like it, and the coffee was fresh and smooth. It's definitely a spot worth checking out.
We made a reservation, and the wait was only a few minutes. Huge portions. Absolutely delicious. Probably the tastiest breakfast in all of Las Vegas. It’s a little on the expensive side though. Service was good, though a bit slow. I also really loved how the place was decorated. Overall a great experience, and I would definitely return.
I have to say this is the top of breakfast. I’ve had in 10 years. From the moment I walked through the door sat down to the counter. Service is exceptional, super genuine and friendly. I was actually able to speak with the chef through the window great guy. The manager stopped at my seat to ask how things were. He’s definitely Old School great service, genuine person which emulates into his staff in the atmosphere. Thank you, Jason and your team. I will be back.
Cool place to get to, especially if it is your first time. This place gets really busy, so be prepared for a wait of at least an hour or possibly more. There's a lounge if you want to have a drink or two before food.
The food was amazing. The service was great. We had Gabby serve us ( I hope I got the name right)
The Peppermill Fireside Lounge restaurant was an excellent choice for breakfast in Vegas. The atmosphere was warm and the food was well prepared, tasty and they gave sizable portions. What made Peppermill stand out even more was the lounge that was a separate section inside the restaurant. It had a nice sunken, cozy fireplace, reasonable drinks, comfortable seating and of course, because we were in Vegas they definitely had the option to gamble in the lounge. It provided a nice area for customers to relax as they waited for their table to be ready. We look forward to visiting Peppermill on our next trip to Vegas.
Love this cool gem!! Got this as a random recommendation from another tourist. It was spot on as the vintage bar is cool while you wait! The menu is an expansive with HUGE portions for a good price! Nothing was bad on the menu. Staff were all helpful and friendly. I will make this a place to stop when we are in Vegas!
