What an amazing experience! I got there earlier than expected and Matt at the front desk was the first person who greeted me. He was so friendly and helpful. I felt like we were friends!! The rooms were stunning and clean with a very comfortable bed. The property itself was fantastic but I can’t emphasize the staff enough. I feel they went out of their way to make sure I had such an incredible stay. This will be the only place I ever stay when I return to Reno!
This is the best place in Reno to stay and play and relax. The service is better than anywhere else in my opinion. Every employee I’ve ever interacted with has made time for me and made sure I was more than happy after. I can’t say that is true for a certain large facility by the airport.
This is our 5th visit to the Peppermill which we love. From the rooms to the wonderful staff it is a joy. Especially the whiskey bar..great entertainment and the bartenders are friendly and helpful||Only glitch was on last day. We love the beautiful videos they show in the rooms on 3 different stations with relaxing music. Sometimes my wife and I just lay on the bed watching while drifting off to sleep. Well, this last day the channels sadly shut down for the entire day. We went down to the front desk to express our concerns and the agent shockingly suggested several times that she should just “quit her job right now”. Bizarre. ||Then the front desk manager Jamie came out with an attitude claiming that the glitch was caused by the weather. Later in the evening a maintenance man said that was a lie. The shutdown was caused by the system getting switched to fiber optics. She was just the opposite in what you would want representing the hotel in the front of the house. Incredibly nasty.
The rooms are beautiful. Housekeeping does a great job. Restaurant staff was good. Food was decent. Bartenders have absolutely no clue. It took 22 minutes to get recognition and receive a beer. I was one of four people at the bar. Went to another bar and the bartender had two customers and was talking to them, not paying attention to others walking up. A third bartender was discussing their sick child and how they were vomiting all night. Not a joyous conversation to have with patrons.
We had a rare weekend away and chose the Peppermill based on location to the airport. The room was very nice and had everything we needed. The steam shower was enjoyable as well. The best part was the casino itself though- fantastic dining options ( Spend the money on the steak house it is SO worth it) slots were paying out, and free drinks!!! We didn’t need to leave the property. We also enjoyed a day at the pool and it was fabulous! Would highly recommend staying here for a weekend trip!
The hotel is beautiful and well kept. The facilities are always clean and the staff is amazing. Alexandra was AWESOME! We had some issues with our reservations and she took the time to work with us to get things resolved and get us our rooms. I can't thank her enough for her service.
The down side: Nevada allows smoking in the building. As a person with COPD, this was not a pleasant experience. I was here for a conference and didn't have much of a choice. If you want to gamble there are lots of non-smoking casinos in the US.
This place got 5 stars for service. Perfect job.
Traveling for work, two nights a week I will stay at a different hotel. THIS by far, is my favorite! It is simply gorgeous! The staff is friendly and helpful, even stopping to ask if I needed any help finding anything as I was looking for the gym. The grounds perfectly cared for and extremely clean! The gym is top notch and the pool areas are perfectly kept. I can’t wait to visit again!
Veronica that worked in hotel check out was extremely rude and not helpful answering our questions about the extra 100$+ charge we were charged. Something about an extra hospitality service fee they can charge whenever , for however much they feel is appropriate. Our first night was comped, we were charged for the second night $120. But our bill checking out was around $225.00.
