Visit was 3 adults and 2x 2 and under toddlers. Got there at 4:50, they don't make reservations, and the check in had told us earlier to definitely get in B4 5:30, even mid week, if we didn't want a long wait. Got seated in under 10 minutes. Ordered 4 'meats' (meatloaf, catfish, country fried steak and fried chicken) and selection off the standard 4 sides, and boy did we over order..... 2 'meats' would have been more than enough. We figured, despite it being a 'family style', that portions would be the 'new standard' in restaurants today, ie small.... Wrong. We barely touched the fried chicken, and ate only 2/3 of the other 3 and were stuffed .... Extra helpings though are freely brought if needed for big eaters. The ONLY downside is there is no taking the leftovers to go, even if you are only on the original dishes, not extras. Which means really yummy, untouched food gets tossed.... Very very wasteful concept Paula Dean. Dessert was included and although portions were small were all very tasty and YOU CAN have those to go. Highly recommended. Cost, per person was <$30.
A pleasant dinner served family style. For 2 people you each pay $26 and pick 2 meats and 4 sides which you share and will be refilled as often as you ask. You can each select a dessert of your choice.
The food and service were good. We had a window seat and could enjoy seeing the water fountain show and some of the amusement rides.
We had dinner here today, and we picked the fried chicken and the pork chops as our meat and we had collard greens, fried okra, mashed potatoes and salad as our sides. The food was above average to pretty good. I didn’t care for the pork chops, but that’s just my taste. We’ve been to this restaurant in several locations now, Myrtle Beach, Pigeon Forge TN and we’ve been here a few times in Nashville and again the food is pretty good to above average I would say, we plan to come back. This is not food I would want to eat every week or every month, but only on vacation here and there - again we will be back. Thank you.
To be honest, I didn’t have high expectations coming here since I’ve had quite a few hit or miss experiences with some of the popular restaurants in the area. I’m so happy we decided to give this place a try!
We came during the week in the early afternoon, so the environment was quiet and cozy. Our server was very nice and kindly explained to us how family style dining works at this restaurant since my husband and I had never experienced it before.
The food came out quickly and tasted AMAZING! We were so pleased! It was like a high quality buffet or holiday dinner. Prepare to come HUNGRY because you can’t take the entrees or sides home with you! Dessert is the one item you can take for carry out.
Our family will be visiting soon and this is one of the places we’re most excited to take them!
Absolutely loved the food here. We got pot roast and rice, fried chicken, creamed potatoes, creamed corn, slaw and Mac n cheese and also homemade drop biscuits with yummy garlic butter on top!! So delicious! Very fast service and wonderful, attentive staff! We will be back! Also a great view of the Island while eating!
It was a great experience, loved the hospitality and the family style dinner and breakfast!

Went out for a casual type of dining experience and was greeted with one I wasn't expecting. I have experienced family style seating but never family style eating at a restaurant! It was such a cool experience and the food was great. A few bites in I was already telling my wife we have to come back! For those that have never been to a family style restaurant, I'll compare it to a buffet with high quality food and the waiter/waitress brings you all your food! So cool and so good!
I knew this would be beautiful inside with all the home decor & all the goodies. The restaurant was a first family style for me, but it was worth it. Everything was delicious & nice and fattening ????????
