Best WLM Reviews

This is the first time I have ever given a Las Vegas hotel a five star review.
This hotel has beautiful decore and is in a great location situated between the New York New York and The Aria Hotels. This location allows for easy navigation around and on The strip via trams, trains and walk ability. Food options are abundant for all budgets as well as shopping but the best thing about this Hotel is that it was the first time I felt like my room and surroundings were clean. There weren't any stains anywhere, no crumbs or mold and mildew in the bathroom. The bathroom was obviously clean including the sides and back of the toilet and the furniture was actually comfortable. The bed was a little too soft for my liking but I got a better nights sleep here than I usually do in a hotel and it was very quiet. The hotel has a gorgeous colour scheme but our room was red which was a bit intense but I would definitely stay here again. The only two points that could improve are adding a mini fridge to rooms and changing their toiletries because I found that the soap, lotion and shampoo doesn't smell good.
Other reviews mention the Park MGM is equivalent to a Motel 8. I agree.||Very dated rooms with wire up to wall to the light. No drawers (no break, no drawers on night stands, none in closet, none in bathroom), so second piece of luggage either goes in the floor or table. Carpet stained. ||Room was fairly clean and the bathroom looked liked like it was updated in the last 10 years. However the shower water rolled into the bathroom. Luckily my wife was smart enough to roll up a towel next to the shower to partially hold the water back. ||No refrigerator, no coffee maker. ||Checked with others attending our conference, all the rooms sound the same. ||$400 per night, for sure would not recommend this hotel. ||Thought it was a new hotel, but learned it is the old Monte Carlo hotel.
We actually stayed across the street at the grand but spent a significant amount of time here. The hotel and casino are both pretty nice. Like I’m sure many I have said it is a non-smoking hotel and you can definitely smell the difference. I would definitely recommend it over quite a few others that surround it if you know you know. ????
Terrible. Checked in after dinner and was told our room wouldn't be ready until 12am. Strange, but okay... not the worst. They gave us a $25/person food voucher to compensate.
I'm writing this review at 3am, and there is no indication that rooms will be ready anytime soon.
We were told for hours that our "rooms are being cleaned." At the check in lobby's insistence that booking another hotel would not be necessary, we did not search for other hotels. Now, no hotels are accepting reservations this late into the night, and people are sleeping on couches in the lobby.
Park MGM's incompetence is astounding. If you are expecting reliable service, absolutely do not come here.
Update: the room was available shortly after 3am. It smelled strongly of cleaning solution. The final compensation they offered was: $25/person food voucher, $100 off the hotel rate, waived resort fee, some gambling change. Up to you to decide if it's worth the trouble.
I'm ok with no Fridge or Microwave, But NO Coffee Maker is over the edge for me. Also, the TV Remote stopped working but it was replaced. The bathroom fan never worked and the pool and jacuzzi were closed for maintenance. The Security staff were very helpful. The Conference facilities were fine, and the food was good.
I recently stayed at Park MGM in Las Vegas, and while it has its advantages, there were several aspects that left much to be desired. Here’s a breakdown of my experience:
Location
One of the standout features of Park MGM is its excellent location. The hotel is situated right on the Las Vegas Strip, making it incredibly convenient to walk to most of the main attractions, dining options, and entertainment venues. Whether you want to catch a show, try your luck at a casino, or simply explore the buzz of the Strip, everything is within easy reach. For someone who enjoys walking and soaking in the Vegas atmosphere, this was a definite plus.
Hotel Amenities
Unfortunately, the amenities at the hotel were underwhelming. First and foremost, the rooms do not come with a fridge, which was incredibly inconvenient. In a city where it’s important to stay hydrated, having no place to store cold drinks felt like a significant oversight. Additionally, the dining options at the hotel were quite limited. While the few available eateries were decent, they lacked variety, and I found myself venturing out to other nearby hotels and restaurants for meals.
Room Conditions
The room itself was a mixed bag. While the view from the windows—especially at night—was absolutely stunning, it was hard to ignore how dirty the windows were. This took away from what could have been a spectacular experience. On top of that, the room wasn’t particularly clean. It felt like housekeeping could have done a more thorough job before my arrival.
Staff and Atmosphere
The staff at Park MGM were friendly and professional, which was a relief. However, the hotel felt overwhelmingly crowded. Navigating the common areas, especially the lobby, was a challenge at times, and it detracted from the sense of comfort and relaxation one might expect from a hotel in this price range.
Parking and Valet Services
The parking situation at Park MGM was another letdown. The garage was extremely expensive, and valet service was $19 per day—not including tips, which were, of course, expected. While valet staff were courteous, the overall cost added up quickly, and it felt excessive given the already high costs associated with staying in Vegas.
Spa and Additional Costs
While I didn’t use the spa myself, I did look into the pricing and found it to be exorbitantly expensive. It’s unfortunate that such services aren’t more reasonably priced, as they could have provided a much-needed respite from the crowded and hectic atmosphere of the hotel.
Final Thoughts
While Park MGM does have its redeeming qualities—chief among them its fantastic location and friendly staff—the negatives were significant enough that I would hesitate to recommend it wholeheartedly. The lack of basic conveniences like a fridge, the high costs of parking and valet, and the overall cleanliness of the room made the experience less enjoyable than I had hoped for.
If you’re primarily looking for a well-located hotel and don’t mind dealing with crowds or paying premium prices for parking and other services, Park MGM might still be a decent choice. However, for those seeking a more relaxing and fully equipped stay, there are likely better options in Las Vegas that offer greater value for money.
The Park MGM is a very pleasant and safe hotel to stay at. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facilities are very well cared for conveniently located. The casino has a good selection of tables and games. There are a variety of food vendors and restaurants.
Clean n comfortable for a single person. No refrigerator or coffee maker. Across the street from TMobile Arena so the views were nice at night. The Park is just across from the lobby entrance n is a nice place to stroll or enjoy morning sunshine on a cold December day.
