It took a long time before our waiter came to out table. But once he finally did Aiden was pretty good . Food came out quick and was delicious. We were here for my birthday dinner.. Will definitely return.
First time visiting this place. The greeting was welcoming. We were a party of 8. Our waitress was excellent in tending to our table and made sure to inform the manager about the food allergy. I was impressed that the manager then came to our table to confirm the food allergy, which showed concern to avoid any medical issues.
The waitress asked to take a group photo of us in the courtyard. I felt it was thoughtful of her since we were only taking them at the table. Overall, the food was appealing and good. I had catfish with rice& beans. The portions could have been a little more for the price you're paying, especially when it comes to portions of rice, pasta, beans, and potatoes. The only thing that my party of 8 agreed, although the plate was hot, was that the food was just warm. Overall, I would try them again and would recommend lunch/dinner experience.
Always a great time at Pappadeaux! I just happened to be in the area with some time to spare.So I came in for drinks and their charbroil oysters. So good and the best I've had since leaving Mississippi. Carlos, the bartender, is very friendly and amazing customer service! An oasis in the desert, the outside decor is super cute and great for special occasions.
I always enjoy a dinner at this establishment. The consistency is there with the food and they have good cocktails. My last visit to them was off to a rocky start which may have been bad timing on our part as a shift change may have been occurring. But our delay in initial service was more than made up for by the exemplary service provided by Kaelin M. She really stepped in there with a bubbly demeanor and efficient execution of her duties that more than made up for any prior inconvenience. Will be back again.
Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen is a nice place to have dinner. The food was okay. The crab that I had been eager to have was no longer existing on their menu any longer. They had crab pieces that turned out dry, and the steak was a little better than the crab. It was cooked to almost specification, ordering it medium rare, it turned out a little rarer than I would have liked. The spinach was good as my husband said it was the best thing about his meal. My potatoes was cooked better than the crab and steak. As I don't like spinach, I gave it him as he loved it. His dinner, catfish, I believe, was dry. I did have oysters Rockefeller, and it was the best thing of my meal. They were arranged very well, the presentation was very appetizing. The last time I had been to Pappadeaux's was far better than what I had that night.
My first time there and I was very happy. Beautiful walk way into the restaurant. Inside is beautiful as well. The food? WOW so good. My hunny didn't like the gumbo but I loved the bacon wrapped stuff shrimp with dirty rice and the steamed oysters.
The food here was really tasty. But emphasis must be placed on the Roasted Oyster appetizer. That was the best dish here by far. All of the food tasted fresh and came out fairly quickly. The request I made for my catfish to be “extra crispy” was fulfilled perfectly. We came during lunch and they had a full lunch menu that runs from 11am-3pm and the portions are incredibly generous.
The food was really delicious. Came out fresh and hot. Everything tasted really good and the salmon was my favorite! The waitress wasn't the best and we didn't get bread or really any attention, she just did the minimum so paying a good tip wasn't of interest to me as she didn't want to put in any effort. YOU don't have to suck up to get a good tip but man offer a refill, another drink, bread...something!
