This was my first time in Miami and my first time eating Cuban food. I loved it!!
The food was very delicious. The ambiance and overall feel of the restaurant was very cool. The staff was pretty awesome except for some annoying little dude who came around and tried to take our picture and charges for it. But other than that it was really good. Meaning the waiters and waitresses and everybody else that took care of our meal.
As I said, it was my first time eating Cuban food and I ordered a steak with chimchury and it was freaking awesome. I sampled some other people 's food as well and everything I tried was delicious.
They have a back outdoor area where there is additional seating behind the actual restaurant. Kind of a courtyard with trees and that is where we ate outside. It was cool and the music and atmosphere was amazing.
Definitely recommend trying this place out for the food and atmosphere. It's definitely a busy area and parking can be a little bit tough around there, but there are plenty of cool stores to walk around and see nearby. But in terms of food this restaurant you can't go wrong.
We had an amazing waiter. She helped us picked our food, and it came out fabulous and tasteful, The bill came with a service charge of 18% and I asked what is this charges for? This is service charge to pay employees and not the tip to her. I was shocked that we are paying the wages for the restaurant employees.A bit awkward and will not come here again.
This is a sensational place to spend time at, in the truest meaning of the word: Every sense is engaged here. There is always another detail to see or feel, a commotion to hear, and variety of dishes to smell and taste. You can take in the atmosphere from any angle and be stimulated; this restaurant is alive, and being here is feeling alive.
Food is OK. I didn’t like the sides and I thought the oxtail was very expensive for what it was (not too different from what I can easily toss together at home, and it was under-salted).
Service is fine. It’s very busy so service can sometimes be slow. An automatic 18% gratuity is added to the bill, but receipt will still print out with a tip line and the servers won’t warn you about it. I didn’t fall for it but it still left a sour taste in my mouth.
Bottom line - this is an incredible place to experience and a good place to eat.
Our second time here, first with food tour but decided to come back for more. Did not disappoint, superb! Daniela provided us with great service and helpful on deciding what to try. This place is a real gem! Highly recommended by me ????????????
Had an absolute blast here! Karla was a great server. Food was excellent, and the band was so fun and lively. People dancing and having fun. We had an amazing experience! Can’t wait to be back
Nalty was truly the best server! As we were new to Cuban food, she kindly explained all the food, and my friends and I were able to order food that we were very satisfied with. All of her recommendations were perfect. This restaurant was by far the best food I had in Miami. The atmosphere was also good, but keep in mind outdoor patio allows smoking ???? Other than that, I was really satisfied with everything. Refer to the receipt for the menu and the price :)
Great place. Try to get there before music starts so you can enjoy it. The food is great, and the atmosphere is the best, Karla R was great(thank you for tasty suggestions), dessert, and drinks. Everything was perfect. We were sitting basically outside by the door, and we were happy there. Thank you.
Amazing place, Daniela gave exceptional service and even worked with us to split the tab after we had told her differently in the beginning. She was amazing waitress and the food is so good. Decent price, live band that was top notch. Highly recommend.
