We drove 20 miles to try this out due to the number of 5⭐️ reviews. All three of us agreed that everything we ordered was the best version we’d ever had from a takeaway. All freshly prepared quickly and exactly as ordered. All the staff were friendly, especially the owner. The thing I am most disappointed about is that I can only give 5⭐️, we liked it so much we are going back again the day after to try something else. Keep up the good work.
Heard a lot about here with people saying it’s the best in town. Unfortunately I was a little disappointed. Chips didn’t seem fresh at all and were quite greasy and limp with lots of tough bits. Curry sauce was, oddly, very sweet. I had a haddock which was cooked fresh, massive and absolutely beautiful so no problem there. Portions are very big so maybe, if you try it, one chips is enough for two.
Service very efficient and friendly though one of the two girls seemed a bit annoyed with the owner for some reason.
Will try it again in case the chips are just a bit poor on a one off occasion as most people rave about the place
Excellent chip shop. Was passing through and after reading reviews thought we would try. Fish and chips were fantastic and even had a pot of tartare sauce. Very good price too. Much cheaper than our local chippys. Good service from staff. Excellent
Found this place after looking for a place to have dinner. Situated in the middle of a housing estate it was difficult to find but worth it. The food was freshly cooked and very good and the service was excellent. We ordered the food to takeaway and it was wrapped well and still hot when we got back to our hotel. Would recommend oh my god.

Oh my food was really good. Had a fair old lump of fish (had to be cod) with plenty of chips. My parents recommend the place highly as they live locally and we were visiting.
I want to say great job to the staff working in there on that hot evening a few weeks ago!
We have come over to visit family from Australia, we haven’t been home for nearly 3 years and haven’t had a real chippy since then.
I’m so glad my first chippy visit was with this place.
Food was amazing and what a great guy the owner is. Well worth a ten thousand mile trip!
One of the good chippies in a very good catchment area. The staff are extremely friendly and polite. Reasonably priced and excellent quality. The parking is a help yourself free for all as its in a built up residential area. Takes cash only. The cash machine just a few shops away does charge £1-55 for a withdrawal , so come prepared. Enjoy.
Great food. I ordered a selection of food and I was speaking with the owner and he told me he likes to get the best meat quality sausages, with highest pork content. That was great to know considering I bought some and were great. Chicken had a choice between chunks and regular style Nuggets and both were liked. I preferred the chunks but the kids preferred the regular, so best of both worlds. If you haven't eaten here, get down there now. Chips were great too.
