The location is great right off Royal St. The ambiance is great and cozy with multi floor seating with each having their own art and decorations. Really happy with the whole experience. The service was perfect with an amazing and attentive server. Ordered their special red fish and was really happy with the fish but the pasta was a little undercooked and the sauce was very watery. The corn dip was amazing and highly recommended. Will be back again for another dish.
This was our very first visit to Oceana Grill. Josh waited on us and he did a wonderful job. 10/10. He knows exactly what he's doing to make visitors have a great experience. The food tasted very good as well. The atmosphere was fun. I have nothing but positive things to say!
Good experience visiting Oceania, however the hostess needs to find another job because she obviously doesn't like greeting people. Thank goodness we had a great server in David to make things wonderful after our poor greeting encounter. The food was good, but the service made our meal as it was excellent. The drinks were very good and a great compliment to the food. Thanks again to David for the awesome service and Birthday surprise for my wife.
Boy howdy was the food good! I got the oysters and they were fresh and tasty! My wife got the fried fish and it was packed with flavor. Highly recommend getting the top shelf margarita it comes smoking with dry ice and tastes amazing! Our server Jelly was great!
I visited here with a few co-workers. I got the crab cake, which was pretty dry. The greens were good and so were the mashed potatoes. My coworker got the oysters and she said they were tasty. Another coworker got the pie which he said was delicious. We all tried The bread pudding (My first time having bread pudding) and I thought it was delicious. It had a good texture and the hot caramel sauce and whipped cream were amazing with the cinnamon flavor of the bread pudding. Our server was very sweet and accommodating. I would definitely come back.
The line was long but moved pretty fast. I really enjoyed this place. I tried oysters for the second time and they were amazing!!! I was told they had the best oysters ever and this proved to be true. To anyone who’s uncertain on trying oysters, try the Rockefeller oysters here!!! I also had a shrimp poboy that was ranked in my top 3. The bread was a little too thick for me but the slaw on the bun was really good. Nice touch! The bread pudding was the icing on the cake. I could have just had that and been satisfied! Will definitely visit again!!
Visited yesterday and greeted by a friendly host and a server. We were sat to 3rd floor which was okay. Balcony is awesome but was hot for us so we sat inside. Food was really not even average. We ordered chicken Alfredo, fried platter and alligator Po boys. Chicken Alfredo was okay. All the fried food was very over fried with the exception of the fish. Couldn’t taste anything but thick burned breading. Shrimp was breaded with tail on and it was so hard to eat.
I am putting this here to let the owners know. I will take it down in few days. Hope they see and improve
Definitely worth the wait. I had the Chicken and Sausage Gumbo and the Jambalaya Pasta and it was amazing. Our drinks also had great presentation, I think we ordered the Bahama Mama and it came with some dry ice.
