Located directly in Time Square. I was there with a bus group and our check in was quick and efficient. Restaurant on site was very good. Rooms were spotless and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Was very pleased. Would like to visit again for more than one night.
Great location right in Times Square. The elevator system is cool. There was a nice looking fitness center on the 23rd floor. I got a basic room with virtually no view of Times Square, but a decent view of some other buildings.
When I initially entered the hotel, I was definitely not blown away. The lobby is kind of a pain to get to, using a busy set of elevators. The hotel common area and rooms definitely felt very dated, almost like an old cruise ship. The hotel is huge, so even getting to my room took awhile. ||The room itself is ok, also dated. It was pretty spacious though, for NYC in particular, and recent blackout shades (always something I look out for) so I got decent sleep. ||I would likely not stay again. The hotel felt old and a bit gross. I feel there are a lot more updated hotels in the area that I've stayed at.
Stayed for 3 nights and it was really wonderful. The hotel is very luxurious, clean and well secured. Elevators are blazing fast. Location is superb, we are in the midst of Times Square. Fun and adventure never stops at the square so we can join the crowd every time we pleased. They even gave us free liberty cruise for three persons. A 40$ breakfast every morning, we just have to top it up to get more food.
Over all, this is a very good hotel. Highly recommended.
This is an ideal location as it’s in the middle of Times Square. The room was lovely and staff were friendly and helpful. Communal areas clean. The shop prices are extortionate so don’t use that and the breakfast is also expensive for what it is. ||We ate in the Revel bar twice and food is very average and over priced. There are so many places to eat in the area which are much better. The staff help you get a taxi, give you directions and printed my boarding pass. Felt safe and room was clean and modern. Would stay again.
We generally stay in Marriott properties because we get points, so I chose this because it was right on Times Square. It was perfect for our needs. We had a room overlooking Times Square - fun! Tons of people but we never had to wait too long for an elevator or a seat at the bar. Room was clean and spacious. The price was very reasonable considering the location, and it was also literally next door to the theater where we had tickets for a show. Special kudos to the bell staff who not only hailed handicap cabs for us but helped my husband put my scooter in the rear. We will stay again!
By far the best hotel in Times Square. Great restaurants, theaters, and shopping are all nearby. I adore this service. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a fantastic outlook, and the M club is excellent. I really loved the gym because it was very convenient and open all day. I would very certainly return here.
We had stayed in this hotel for two days. Our stay was quite comfortable and the location of the hotel is also great as it is very close to Times Square. Our stay in this hotel was part of a package tour of East Coast that included several tourist places. This hotel as well as other hotels were booked by our travel agent, Thomas Cook, who in turn had outsourced the organisation of the tour to another agent based in New York. We had visited USA 6-7 times in last 22 years but our son and daughter who live in California, near San Francisco had been taking care of us and all arrangements including pick up at the airprt and visit to several places, such as LA. San Diego, Las Vegas, Reno, Lake Tahoe etc used to be made by them., However, we had never been to New York and that too on our own. So we had bit of worry travelling first time from New Delhi to New York on this Package tour. Fortunately, we did not face any problem and as per the terms of the package tour, we were provided with transport at the JKF Kennedy, airport and were taken to Hotel Marriot, where we reached at about 11 AM after a 90 minutes drive. However, we found a little problem to reach the reception lobby situated at a higher floor but were helped by the security staff. For us, it was a new experience because to reach the lobby on the 8th floor we had to take the help of the security people. As our tour manager was supposed to meet us at 3 PM to finalise the allottment of rooms to all members of the tour, we requested the receptioist to provide us a room, if available. The receptionist talked to our tour manager and then accepted our request but we had to pay an advance of $ 200/- to be refunded while checking out. I paid the amount through a credit card that I had taken in India before embarking on this trip. The room was really very spacious with all necessary amenities and facilities. A few hours later, our grandson contacted us from the reception He had driven from Boston to meet us and after meeting him we felt rellieved. He also handed me over a mobile phone for local calls.
