Best WLM Reviews

My first and very last experience at new horizon dental. Before a negative review I’d to begin some positive, Michelle, you are angel sent. You are probably the only reason that place has the slightest professionalism because it’s unethical and unprofessional all the way around. I watched her answer the phone, verify insurance, provide paperwork for checking in process, registering and coordinating discharge paperwork for those who needed additional procedures for walk in and scheduled patients according to insurance which is so tedious because the necessity varies per. Not only did her colleagues arrive what appears to be late, they were making personal calls and eating a bacon egg and cheese at the front desk. Michelle at least at the decency to eat behind the wall where it was difficult for patients to view. Not only did they arrive late and still provide Michelle little to no help, one departed for a snack break already after arriving about 10/15 minutes into her shift then you wonder why there’s a 3 hour wait time. After waiting the longest 3 hours in pain, I get called by a lovely assistant who places me in a room where it is extremely fifthly. After vocalizing said concerns, Dr. Lin interjected and responded with “ you can let the manager know, for now, have a seat”. I felt dismissed and uncomfortable so I decided to stand and wait near the door. Dr Lin realizes I did not follow his command and comes back into my exam room and remind me that I was asked to have a seat by him. I vocalized my concern once more and he departed harassing an assistant to perform my x ray in annoyance as if I were a burden conflicting issues upon his practice. The lovely assistant seemed very accustomed to his unprofessional ways reassuring the visit is almost over and I’ll be on my way. I’m placed in the very same disgusting exam room where there were rusted machinery despite the tools are being opened from a new package. Supplies are in broken cabinets open for patients to freely take as they please because it’s such a fast paced environment none would even notice. There were used Q tips on the floor, pictures attached for review. I just sat in that dirty chair, holding back frustration and tears as Dr Lin comes in the room, asks me about my complaint of tooth pain and history followed by his view of my x ray. I mentioned something of candy consumption at a young age and he immediately cuts me off and says that’s no excuse, you were a child, what happened now? I felt humiliated. What if I told you I was in and out of an a coma and wanted to regain my life when I was finally cured, had a baby and now being able to finally take care of myself. There was no empathy/ sympathy in that place at all. Those kinds of doctors prey on our communities because they know we need the help, bill our insurances to maintain their practice so their using us and frown upon us as if they are better. I wouldn’t be surprised if he went home and gossiped about our living conditions and how we conduct ourselves… not even if I were in pain again will I ever step foot or recommend that place to a single soul. Even oral dental is more professional. There are doctors on moshulu prkw north that accepts all insurance and are open 5-7 days a week. A longer commute for a better and effective service. Michelle I wish you the best. You are truly amazing, I hope you notice your worth enough to leave that place, they are not worthy of you my dear…
FYI the point of the post is not to diminish the credibility of the other providers nor the practice but to remind you of the importance of professionalism and a clean practice. A personal point for the provider, if you don’t like your job, please find your passion. I can see the misery in your interactions, you uphold such stoicism; don’t judge people. You never ever know what a person has endured in this lifetime. Pass your profession, remind yourself who you are and what your ultimate goal is in life because theres more too it then just working a job. A reminder to all to be kind to one another.
The Worst Dental Experience I have ever had in my life They where so happy and enthusiastic when they gave me their business card and wanted me to come in for my dental work but the dentist are rude they do the bare minimum even with an appointment they will have you wait for hours the hours posted on site are not the hours of operation and days posted are untrue I was told by there answering service to just show up on a Monday because I had a dental emergency and they were not even open I called back the answering service lady could only say she was sorry for me going all the way there and them not being open which the answering service should know there hours of operation a lady named Kelly told me to come they turn off the phones whenever they feel like it and forward you to these people that don’t even seem to be affiliated with them at all
This is the worst dentist that has ever existed. I’m not even exaggerating about how terrible it is. The staff is rude and disrespectful, they don’t answer the phone. The office is dirty, collections of people hair throughout the dental service rooms and dusty. I went in for a service and left having more pain than I did before I went in weeks after the service. They make excuses for their short Cummings and try nothing to resolve issues they cause. I have to finish the work this doctor started and after that I refuse to go there ever again!!! I may even boycott for this place to shut down. Why are they even open with such bad reviews.
This place is horrible! Every time you make an appointment you have to wait over an hr! Not only that, the work that this dentist does, is absolute garbage!! Not to mention, they tried to make me sit my 3 yr old in the lobby because the “rooms” are small and it would make it “easier” for them to work (those were his exact words). . Yeah never coming back here again! Dirty, uneducated, unprofessional, unsanitary & overall TRASH!
These guys are horrible. Everyone here with their reviews are correct. They take way too long to see u,that's my problem. If I schedule an appointment for my kid at 10am,I'm not expecting to always wait 2 hours before she's seen. And yes I kid u not,ALWAYS 2 HOUR WAIT. When there was only 3 people there one time I still waited an hour and 40 minutes before being seen. Please find somewhere else to go. This dentist office is just a hot mess in general for adults and kids
I call the day before coming to schedule appointment for my wisdom teeth that are almost completely out. The receptionist says come in before 11 as a walk in we will see you. I go okay so today I get there at 10 expecting a little wait but what I encountered today was one completely unorganized, very rude workers and the most unhelpful dentist.
I get in at 10 am greeted by the most unprofessional and rude receptionist when I was asking simply questions as a new patient coming in. I waiting and waiting and start noticing people who got there after me were being called so I ask one of doctors what’s going on completely disregard me. At this point it’s 11:30 I’ve been in there for a hour and a half and still have not been called in. Super frustrated and spoke to the receptionist and magically my name gets called in 5 minutes.
They do my X-rays and sit me in a room right after a doctor comes in with a strong African accent basically asking what’s going on it the most nonchalant way ever for her to then say will your wisdom teeth are coming in I can prescribe pain meds then schedule appointment with a specialist. She then sticks her hand in my mouth to tell me I have cavities and have to make another appointment for a cleaning Completely in shock cause I waited 2 hours for them to tell me what I already knew. And can’t get a cleaning or nothing done what was the point of being a walk in to then be told I have to come back. Disgusting unprofessional and alarming whatever you do don’t come to this horrible dentist office. Horrible doctors and horrible workers.
Staff is not too friendly nor helpful. The dentist sucks. There was no hygienist when I went, so I couldn't get a cleaning. The dentist rushed through our visit to rush to the back and got on her phone speaking loudly in her language but spoke very quietly and briefly when talking to us. I won't be going back. This used to be a good place when they first opened now it is terrible. Avoid it.
Unprofessional and ghetto! After scheduling my appointment nearly a month in advance, taking off work and pulling my child out of school for their appointment, I get to the office and fill out all the necessary paperwork for the receptionist to tell me they don’t even know if my insurance will work and I may have to pay 40%-60% out of pocket . How?? Your dental practice is in the dental directory for my insurance!! No sorry or anything. Just a bunch of rudeness and attitude. Never again !! Wouldn’t recommend! A complete waste of time !! And please replace your receptionists!!
