Best WLM Reviews

The National Gallery of Art truly captivated me! With an extensive collection, the museum offers so much to explore that I highly recommend dedicating at least two separate days to fully appreciate every corner. The best part is that admission is completely free, and there's no need for reservations, making it accessible to everyone.
Once inside, you’re greeted by stunning architecture that adds to the overall experience. The spacious galleries showcase an impressive array of artwork spanning various periods and styles, ensuring that art lovers of all tastes will find something that resonates with them. From classic masterpieces to contemporary works, the museum’s atmosphere is both inspiring and tranquil, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the beauty surrounding them. Overall, the National Gallery of Art is a must-visit destination that offers an unforgettable journey through the world of art.
Quiet walk from East to West checking out the gallery.
While I am walking, I notice the art feels old. 1800 - 1900 I understand that they are old. Just the musem carrying this art is an old experience. From the huge building, taking pride in displaying art. It's displayed the same.
New art is shown the same way. Old arts hung the same.
I really enjoyed the feeling of an old walk through, newly.
I left with a desire to see what the modern style of presenting art is available. Perhaps it's time to go to view modern art and see if it too feels the same. A familiar old walk through, newly felt. With new art hung or displayed the same.
Such a wonderful experience! The museum is enormous and beautifully organized by galleries, making it easy to explore. One day just isn’t enough to truly appreciate all the amazing art here. Admission is free, but when you buy a souvenir, they ask if you’d like to make a donation to support the museum. Those donations are so important—they help keep this incredible place free for everyone to enjoy.

I recently had the privilege of visiting the Smithsonian National Art Museum in Washington D.C., and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. As an art enthusiast, I was blown away by the museum's impressive collections, impeccable maintenance, and thoughtful exhibit organization.
From the moment I stepped inside, I was struck by the grandeur of the building and the warmth of the staff. The museum's vast collections, spanning over 7,000 years of human creativity, are a testament to the institution's commitment to preserving and showcasing the world's most iconic works of art.

Amazing museum! And it's free! Unbelievable! So many pieces of art from different eras and countries. Collections are well organized, and the map helps you navigate. I spent 3 hours in the museum and I would spend more, if I had more time! Highly recommend!
There are two parts to the art gallery - East and West buildings. The East is the older, the West is the newer. This gallery has pieces spanning across thousands of years. Truly remarkable- I saw Monet, Picasso, Warhol and more. An outstanding gallery and experience. You could easily spent a day in each wing.
