Best WLM Reviews

Nathan's Famous on Coney Island is an iconic institution that truly lives up to its reputation. The atmosphere is vibrant and full of energy, reflecting the rich history and tradition of this legendary hot dog stand. The hot dogs are simply unbeatable - juicy, flavorful, and topped with all the classic fixings that make for a wonderful dining experience. They also offer a variety of sides and sandwiches. Definitely a legendary destination all foodies should visit.
I ordered (way too much) fried clam boat, hot dog with sauerkraut & a big Diet Coke. All delicious!! Great service. Fun experience. I love Nathan’s Coney Island & Corlissa was a fabulous & friendly server.
Very cool. On the left side, you can order everything (they have an extensive menu). On the right side, only hot dogs, fries, and drinks. Lots of cement tables outside. There was a bit of a line, but it moved quickly.
As a native New Yorker, I can safely say that this place is grossly overrated. Nathan's is a classic tourist trap for those visiting Coney Island for the first time. I have eaten here only a couple of times, and my experiences here were very underwhelming, to say the least. The food (especially the hot dogs) is extremely overpriced, and the fries are greasy and overcooked, in my opinion. For the price of one hot dog you can go to your local supermarket and buy a whole pack for the same price and have the same Nathan's experience at home. But since this place is a landmark and is a popular site for the hot dog eating contest every year, tourists will continue to frequent this establishment regardless of the quality and cost of the food. However, the service is quite fast, and there are plenty of areas to sit outside. Would I recommend Nathan's to a tourist from out of state? The quick answer would be no, as there are much better well-known eateries in Brooklyn.
A hotdog from Nathan's at Coney Island was on my to-do list. It didn't disappoint. Quite a long queue, but we expected that. It was lunchtime. Hotdogs were great, as was the onion rings. Washed down with a beer. Managed to get a seat outside.
The word FAMOUS in there title lives up to the name. My cheese fries was so cheesy they will always be on my list with I go to Coney Island. And I only went for Nathan's Famous Hotdogs for the win ???? because
A classic "Must visit" if you're going to Coney Island.
My last trip here I got a chili cheese dog and some corn dog bites. The chili cheese dog was pretty good, but I love the corn dog bites. They're literally the wonderful flavor of a corndog without the stick.
I will add that the menu is extensive now and has a ton of other items besides hot dogs. Lots of sea food now, which is nice.
We tried Nathan’s Famous because it was one of New York things to do according to the internet. But we were disappointed. When we were there in January, half of the restaurant was closed due to not many people visiting Coney Island. The guy on the cashier was very friendly and served us very quickly.
- Chili cheese dog: just ok. The bun was good and soft. The hot dog was good but nothing special. The chili tasted like canned chili.
- Kid’s hot dog meal: the hot dog was ok - similar size to regular one. The fries were crispy and well seasoned.
