It's really hard for me to do 5 stars but my experience at Monty's has usually usually always been top notch. Today was definitely another good day. We arrived for lunch not thinking about it being Brunch (thought it's Saturday).
Our server, Petrona, was on the ball. She got to my table with my family quickly and made good suggestions on things. We ordered drinks and an appetizer that came at a great speed and she made sure to bring a water when the last one of our party arrived. The food came out hot delicious. It was a great experience and I know next time I'm in town I will be back.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been to Monty’s a couple of times already, and each time I’m always met with great food and even better service. The restaurant is always clean and right next to the ocean, which makes dining-in a great experience and a perfect spot for pictures and walking by the dock to enjoy the scenery after eating. They also have live band performances with amazing talent. Our wonderful waitress Nia made our experience easy, quick, and enjoyable. Like always, I’ll be back soon to enjoy some top quality food and entertainment.
The ambiance is always lively, with a mix of locals and tourists enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, but I can never resist their grilled octopus and the clam chowder—it’s simply the best! Each bite reminds me of why I keep coming back.
After our meal, we decided to take a stroll along the waterfront. The sunset was breathtaking, casting a golden hue over the water and creating the perfect backdrop for some memorable photos. We even spotted a few dolphins playing in the distance, which added to the magical experience of the evening.
As we wrapped up our visit, I made sure to chat with Nichole again to express my appreciation for her excellent service. She shared some great recommendations for other dishes to try on my next visit, and I can’t wait to go back and explore more of their menu. Monty's truly feels like a little slice of heaven, and I always leave with a happy heart and a satisfied stomach!
Gigi was an excellent server. I enjoyed the life band and the free non-alcoholic drink samples.

The drinks, food, and atmosphere were great here. Loved the stone crab platter. So fresh and delicious! Our server Adriana T. was so helpful, bubbly, and sweet. Highly recommend this place.
This is like a dive bar, but the food is spectacular. We had the calamari, and they were so tasty and fresh. They ran out of lobster risotto which is what we wanted but The Cajun pasta with shrimp was divine! We had gotten full but couldn’t stop eating it. The oysters and drinks were amazing as well. This is the perfect spot to try if you want good, fresh seafood at an affordable price. We will definitely be back!
The stone crab, and oysters on happy hour were pretty good although I think the prices were kind of outrageous. I think it’s cheaper in Key West, which is already insanely high. We got the mahi and fish and chips. The fish and chips are just all right definitely not exceptional but the mahi was seriously overcooked and very dry and tough like I don’t even know how you mess up Mahi that bad that had to have been the worst cooked mahi I have ever witnessed in my life and I get Mahi almost everywhere for the last 32 years. The clam chowder was pretty good and had plenty of clam so I would recommend that. They did say it was their specialty, but that’s kind of sad. You got a specialize in more than just a bowl of soup dude.
Where to start? I was brought here by some a local buddy and we had a large group WITH some kids and it was a delightful experience from greeting to check. We started with casual drinks at the bar and moved on to seafood appetizers, which were amazing… Being from Albuquerque, we don’t get as much Fresh seafood. Adriana took care of us like we were family bringing us pitchers of beer and water. 10 out of 10 experience would absolutely come back here.
