Best WLM Reviews

The food is so good and the host was very warm. We went there at 6am and the host gave some freebies too!! The samgyeopsal is highly recommended, Elizabeth was grilling it for us and she did it perfectly! It's very juicy and she told us on how we eat it with what side dishes to get the max flavor of the dish, 10/10 would go back again for sure????????
OK, you know how sometimes you go to a restaurant and they act like they care, but they actually don’t? Well, this wasn’t one of those places! The barbecue was amazing, and the staff was incredibly attentive—especially Bella, who stopped by regularly (without being intrusive) to check on us and see how we were doing. The food was absolutely excellent and worth every penny. I want to give a special thanks to the staff for making my combined birthday and anniversary celebration such a special day. Thank you!
Absolutely fantastic experience! The flavors were authentic, the dishes beautifully presented, and the staff warm and attentive. Highly recommend the BBQ—perfectly seasoned and grilled at the table. This place brings the heart of Korea right to your plate. Can’t wait to come back! Met Elizabeth. She is the sweetest.
We visited this Korean restaurant in Manhattan as a family of four, drawn by its impressive 15,000+ reviews. While the place was clean, tidy, and had great service—staff frequently checked on us and even helped with the barbecue—we left feeling disappointed.
We ordered the smaller barbecue set for two, priced at $170, as the larger set for three to four people was $300, which seemed very expensive for the portion size. Despite the excellent taste of the food, the portions were far too small. We left half-full and felt that even ordering the larger set wouldn’t have been enough for a family of four.
Additionally, the way the waiters behaved toward the end of our meal made us feel rushed to leave. We didn’t get to relax and enjoy the experience for more than 40 minutes, which was disappointing.
Compared to Korean restaurants we’ve been to in Los Angeles, where portions are generous and prices are more reasonable, this restaurant fell short of our expectations. The taste was fantastic, but overall, the value for the price and the rushed atmosphere left us unsatisfied.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Miss Korea, and I must rave about their stir-fried shrimp and chicken in spicy sauce! The dish was a delightful explosion of flavors, perfectly balancing the succulent shrimp and tender chicken in a rich, spicy sauce that had just the right amount of heat.
The freshness of the ingredients was evident, with vibrant vegetables complementing the proteins beautifully. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures, and the spices used were both aromatic and invigorating. The portion size was generous, making it a fulfilling meal that left me wanting more.
The ambiance at Miss Korea added to the experience, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made my meal even more enjoyable. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that I had everything I needed.
Overall, I highly recommend the stir-fried shrimp and chicken in spicy sauce at Miss Korea to anyone craving a delicious and satisfying dish. I can't wait to return and indulge in more of their culinary delights!
I came to visit New York from California and arrived too late at night to check into the hotel. I decided to come to Miss Korea Restaurant after hearing that it’s open 24 hours. I was amazed to see the place bustling with people at 2-3 a.m., just like it’s daytime. I had the galbitang and stir-fried squid and pork belly, and they were absolutely delicious. The complimentary egg soup they served was incredibly tasty as well. I just wish the music had been a little quieter.
Based on the reviews, we had high hopes for the experience since it was new. However the overall atmosphere and service was really rushed. They cook the food for you and then once they’re done, they turned off the grill. They advertise that the large portions can feed up to four people, but that is really inaccurate, It was basically like a medium or small and fed two people. Throughout the whole experience, they just kept bringing out soup although we didn’t eat it especially when we asked for more rice. When we received our food after they were cooking it on the side, it wasn’t even well cooked. We had to ask our server to turn on the grill again, so we can cook the food to our liking. There’s also no seasoning besides salt.
Don’t get what you pay for. They’re expensive for no reason when the food and service was not good enough to justify the pricing.
The bill that is attached to the photos is what our party ended up paying once we removed one person from the bill. They do allow you to split it three ways or break it down by person.
I honestly think this place is over-hyped, the food wasn't anything special. For 80 bucks I got the big tasting experience for 2 and I really wasn't impressed with it. The Kimchi wasn't as good as the one I bought at Walmart. I did enjoy some of the dishes like the glass noodles ???? and one of the sauces that's not spicy yet even when they saw i ran out of it they didn't even offer to refill it. This place has lots of good reviews perhaps because it's open late but as I only had a couple days in the area I really wish I would have tried another spot in Koreatown instead. Don't believe the hype, trust your instincts.
