Best WLM Reviews

This place is so much fun for all the senses! The decor is fabulously over-the-top, so much so that it's really fun and feels like a a special fiesta is taking place. And the food is solid, dependable Tex-Mex! Nothing extravagant or trendy on the plate, just the good old favorites with plenty of rice, beans, and fresh flour tortillas piled alongside. The menu is lengthy and if you have a long wait for a table, ask for a menu so you not only begin salivating and building that appetite, but because you may need a while to figure out which plate or combination you want to commit to. The staff were friendly and patient, even on am extremely busy Sunday afternoon. We had to wait about an hour for a table, but there was plenty of room inside in the A/C to get us out of the 96°F heat. (By the way-- there are two small tables with multiple chairs back near the bathrooms that are normally open for those waiting for a regular table, but most people don't know they're back there. We was walked past 50-60 people waiting up front, through a crowded bar area, and found both of these "waiting" tables empty.) If you can, save room for a selection of absolutely amazing desserts, or at least take one home with you. Mariachi bands often stroll through the restaurant offering their dulcet sounds for a pay-to-play fee of $5-$20, which is well worth it for special celebrations like birthdays!)
One of our favorites for the food, atmosphere and service is always great here. This visit did not have a long wait. We ordered drinks at the bar while we waited. Sabrina was great! She got all of our orders correct.
Went for brunch ???? and and enjoyed the food and ambiance of it all. Lots of good food options for the whole family. Had the Tuesday special sirloin meal, kids had chilaquiles and Mercado taco plate. ????. The flour tortillas were so warm and soft. We stopped by the bakery and found some nice goodies to take ???? ???? home. Parking is tricky with limited front parking, so plan accordingly to use lot or meter parking ????.
The food and drinks are always amazing. I brought my dog today and we were accommodated to sit on the patio. Our server Brianna was amazing! Service was 100/10. First time dining in instead of take out and we had a great time. Will definitely be back!
This place is popular and has a long wait, especially on weekends. We waited for 30 minutes and used that time to get in the bakery line for some bread. They have a large amount of bread and pastries to choose from and they all looked so good. The restaurant was decorated very upbeat and really makes you feel included in the atmosphere. I got beef tacos, which was more like rolls than tacos, and the beef was a bit too salty. But it was very flavorful and the sides were good too. The tamale entree was also really good and definitely filled us up. The bakery and the restaurant were both relatively cheap for the amount of food you get and how busy they are.
I've been here twice. The deluxe platter is definitely my favorite. I'm giving it 4 stars because the last time I went and ordered Fajitas, I was surprised by the low amount of vegetables. But overall, everything was ok.
It’s tough to pick my favorite part of this place! The food is fantastic; the service is great; the atmosphere is one-of-a-kind cool! If you want Mexican food come here!
The food here was amazing. I can't remember the last time I had Mexican food that good that wasn't made by my family.
The only issue here is the fact that they are so popular. The wait times can get pretty long. Some ppl were having to wait 40 min to be seated which is unfortunate.
Would I go back though? Absolutely.
