I spent Memorial Day afternoon at the slots for 3 hours and all around me people were hitting winning spins. It’s a beautiful casino and the hotel is very nice also. I’ve stayed in the rooms in the past and they are top of the line elegant. The food court is diverse with many choices for every taste bud! This hotel and casino is worth the time to go for a getaway!
Great experience the atmosphere is welcoming from the moment you arrive. All staff members were helpful and pleasant. Felt was an experience and great atmosphere as well.. The gaming options were plentiful and accommodate various action. Bryant, one of the high limit managers and the supervisors were quite engaging. Excellent job to all, thank you for a great time.
I always enjoy myself when I visit here. Took my 24 year old daughter out for her birthday. We had a blast! This was my first time experiencing the bar aspect. It's different for me considering I'm a seasoned Atlantic City goer. I'm not used to standing in line to get drinks at a casino. Usually you sit and gamble while the servers bring you FREE drinks. Although the drink prices were reasonable, nothing too crazy. Felt was packed so didn't even try to get in there. Overall good time.
No water at all on the night of my arrival.
The next morning I was awoken at 6:15am when water loudly came back into service. There was no hot water for a shower in the morning before I needed to leave for a long day in meeting rooms. Thankfully, there was warm (though not hot) water when I got back to my room that evening.
Update #1:
The second morning there was no hot water. That evening there was warm water that was barely warm enough to tolerate a quick rinse in.
Update #2:
Day 3, water is barely above warm enough. Certainly not hot.
While the water situation is my main grievance, at this point I need to mention two other annoyances.
The architectural lighting for the building has a strip of bright LED lights directly below my window. The blackout drape blocks most of the light but a significant amount of light still enters the room around the perimeter of the drapes.
While the food being served in the ballrooms is technically edible, it is the blandest and least appealing food I have had the displeasure of eating in recent memory. Unfortunately, I do not have any alternative dining options due to time constraints.
The room was incredibly spacious, providing ample room to move around comfortably. The layout was well-designed, with separate areas for sleeping, lounging, and working. The bathroom was luxurious and immaculately clean. The spacious shower with rainfall showerhead was a refreshing treat after a long day of activities. I was fortunate to have a room with stunning views of the surrounding area. Overall, my experience in the Amazing King Room at MGM exceeded my expectations in every way. I would highly recommend this room to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in area.
This was my first visit to the MGM, and it was great fun! I was there for a gospel concert with Tye Tribett. The theater is a great size, and we had awesome seats!! We had such a good time. I'm looking forward to my next concert there!
Wife and I stayed the night after seeing Godsmack at the theatre. We had a great visit, the food was better than I was expecting. The staff was friendly, place was really lovely and clean. Our room was very nice (king). I would stay again if we were going to another show. I will note that the price tag is up there, but I didn't feel like the value was off for what I got. Like I said, I would stay again.
The machines are super tight and the more popular ones are unable to take your money because they’re so stuffed with tickets and money taken from other gamblers. Earning money/free play is a straight scam. I played thousands of dollars and didn’t earn $15. The $14 I did “earn” I learned in order to use it I had to have at least a dollar in the machine to use it. Very unfavorable and confusing process for the players. After losing about $2500 I finally “won” $1250 back. This is the same each visit I’ve made. I lose thousands of dollars and then I “win” a portion of it back with a W2 to IRS for my own money. Gaming commission needs to investigate these slots. Stay away or just throw your money in the middle of the floor and set it on fire! Thieves!
