Best WLM Reviews

Rooms were good, but everything else you get what you pay for. You’re away from the strip, people are ghetto, their food inside the hotel was crazy expensive. The cafe tasted like airport food, with “foldgers” coffee. The service in the restaurants were good though. Again you get what you pay for, so if you want cheap rooms, this hotels is great for you but other than that, it’s pretty ghetto and not worth it
We stayed at the MGM for my birthday. The hotel is clean and nicely kept. The rooms are great! Nice and clean but they charge you to use the mini fridge! $50 I think that is absolutely ridiculous especially in the hot time of year you should be provided a place to keep drinks cold without being charged extra. The pool area is nicely kept and the pools are pretty warm. The chemicals were a little harsh as I got a chlorine chemical burn. We asked the front desk for a late check out and manager was very rude and lacked professionalism. She actually seems like she was on a power trip. We were willing to pay the late check out fee too! We did end up getting a late check out through the app. Our flight was late so we really needed the extra time. All of the other staff we had interactions with were great and so friendly. The bed was comfortable and the room was well maintained. Housekeeping was outstanding so friendly and welcoming. One down side is no coffee maker. The Starbucks was closed early or not open at all so that was a bummer. Overall the hotel is good but I think we will be trying a new place next time we head to Vegas
We stayed for three nights at The MGM Grand for our first visit to Las Vegas in our sixty plus years. Every other year a late former co-worker of mine went to Las Vegas and this was the only hotel he would stay at, he loved it. He loved the slot machines there and the slot machines "loved him!" When my husband booked this for our hotel, I knew it was a wise choice. The two shows that we had wanted to see just happened to be at that complex: David Copperfield and Cirque d' Soleil...how convenient is that? ! We highly recommend. The hotel is fabulous "all around", centrally located. Easy to get to and from the hotel. I see why my aforementioned co-worker constantly used this particular hotel!
I have been a loyal guest at the MGM Grand for quite some time, and the primary reason for my continued patronage is the exceptional service provided by my host, John. John's hospitality and attention to my itinerary are unparalleled, not just within MGM properties, but across all properties in Las Vegas. His dedication and professionalism are the sole reasons I choose to gamble at the MGM Grand.
Unfortunately, my experiences with the pit bosses outside the Mansion have been less than satisfactory. During my last visit, as a Platinum member with an average bet exceeding $1,000 per bet, I encountered a particularly rude pit boss. I approached a roulette table with the intention of placing substantial bets, but the pit boss demanded to see my ID despite my player’s card already being swiped, which should have displayed my information in the system.
I don’t usually carry my wallet around the hotel, but I was on my way to the cage to settle a marker and cash out additional chips before flying home. Despite my polite request to hold the wheel, the pit boss’s behavior was dismissive and unprofessional. By the time I found my ID, the wheel had spun, and I was unable to place my bet. Although it turned out I would have lost, the experience was humiliating, and I felt disrespected in front of other guests.
I believe the slow pace within the Mansion and the hotel overall might be attributed to the poor customer service on the casino floor. Pit bosses should ensure accurate scoring of play and maintain a respectful demeanor towards all guests, regardless of their appearance.
Despite these challenges, I continue to stay at the MGM Grand solely because of John. His exceptional service has set a standard that I have not experienced elsewhere, not even at other MGM properties where I’ve had good hosts like Marciano at Mandalay Bay. The high-limit room at Mandalay Bay often lacks players, which is why I transitioned to the MGM Grand, and John’s hospitality cemented my decision.
Living in Florida, I have closer gambling options like the Hard Rock Casino, but I choose to travel to Vegas for the superior hospitality and respect I receive, primarily thanks to John. I hope the management at MGM Grand addresses the issues with their pit bosses to improve the overall guest experience, as the behavior of a few should not overshadow the outstanding service provided by hosts like John.
There’s not really anything that I don’t like about this hotel. It’s extremely large and there’s almost anything you could possibly want. It’s a great central location, the machines pay out well. The staff are friendly. The service is phenomenal. The restaurants are phenomenal. The shows here are great, the pool is amazing. I will say it’s a huge attraction and you should definitely take safety precautions not because it’s unsafe in here but because this is one of the places that can attract many different things.
REALLY cool place. Just a bit disappointing how they charge you for EVERYTHING. Felt more welcome and taken care of at other casinos. I recommend staying elsewhere but playing here. Pools were amazing but dirty. Rooms were mediocre. WiFi did not work for all three days. I thought this was an iconic place to stay and then I stayed here and wish I’d have stayed elsewhere. All good though! Cool casino!
MGM has decent rooms, I stayed there years ago and they have went downhill ????. I hate to say this but Corporate Greed is ruining Las Vegas. The maintenance and upkeep of these hotels is not up to par with the prices they want to charge now. Everywhere you go now it is about them making more Money. I went to the food court and for 1 small Stromboli and a beer was $42 after taxes and fees. Please try to explain to me how this is not corporate greed. Simply ridiculous.
I went to a concert last night at MGM Garden Arena. I had to pick up tickets for the show. So I stopped at a box office to see where to pick up my tickets, they said to head down towards the arena and ask a guy at the front of the line. So I walked all the way down to the arena on the other side of the hotel. He said no that I had to walk all the way back to that box office to get my tickets. I noticed there was another box office close to the Arena, I asked the guy if I could just go there and he said no it was just for purchasing tickets. I explained the ticket counter he was referring to sent me to him and he said their was nothing he could do that I had to go back to that ticket booth. So I walked all the way back and spoke with someone else who said that my gut feeling was correct and that ticket booth, near the Arena, was the correct one. MGM if you are going to charge premium rates for EVERYTHING the least you could do is train your staff. I'm sure this review will fall on deaf ears, it's just sickening how greedy these companies have gotten.
