This was the best mall I have ever visited, the theme park inside of the mall is absolutely amazing for families. The kids were having such a great time, you can shop, eat at some amazing food restaurants, relax while the kids are having a blast. An amazing concept, every mall should look like the Mall of America . I absolutely love it!
Amazing facility! Although I'm not a shopper and generally don't get excited about mall's, Mall of America offers an unique, fun experience for everyone (even if not shopping!) Mall of America is huge, it's probably three or four times larger than the normal mall. Within the confines of the mall, you can find just about every type of retail store and restaurant imaginable. There is also the obligatory food court available for quicker food service. There are numerous attractions within the mall, including my favorite attribute; full size amusement park with many great rides! Of course, since all of the amusement park, attractions and rides are indoor, no need to worry about inclement weather! If you want to experience the entire Mall of America and the amusement park and numerous attractions, plan on spending, at least, a few days here. For avid shoppers, it will take several days to visit and investigate all the retail stores. Fortunately, I have had the opportunity to visit the Mall of America many times since it's opening. Each visit I continue to be amazed with size and scope of the facility. In addition, every visit I have found the mall to be immaculate, organized and well maintained. Although there have been a few safety issues and incidents here (unfortunately common everywhere in the USA), I have never felt unsafe at Mall of America. During my visits I have noticed an appropriate level of security staffing and presence throughout the mall. Again, if you've not experienced the Mall of America, I highly recommend you do so! Whether an avid shopper, people watcher, amusement park enthusiasts or enjoy walking in a mall environment, you will truly enjoy the experience and facilities here! Have fun!!!
I just adore this place. Had an incredible food court, always a new, interesting store to see every visit (once a year), amusement park right in the center, and I do a lot of my Christmas shopping here. Has a Vikings team store and that is always a must-stop. Really easy place to spend an entire day.
Amazing place. Has a very diverse collection of shops and boutiques. The Lego land in side is astonishing. Great place to bring your kids. They have a full on amusement park I side the mall at it's center. Has the best food court I've ever been in. And that includes places I've been to In Vegas. The price rages from a couple bucks. To a couple thousand bucks. They also put on live bands performances. If your coming to M.O.A. for the first time. Plan ahead and get there early if you want to see the whole mall. It could possibly take a week. If your a browser and take you time In each store.
What an experience! So huge and so much to see and do. We loved it and will keep coming back. We walked 15k steps and tried to visit everything but I think we may have only seen less than a third. Super impressive!!
The mall continues to be full of great stores, some that have closed in other areas. The amusement park in the middle looked like lots of fun, although we didn't use it. The food court has lots of options and there are also several full restaurants throughout the mall. Some coworkers and I were in Minneapolis for a work conference and had an enjoyable evening exploring the mall.
Clean, easy parking on east ramp, really fun to walk around, lots of places we don’t see in our home town. The legos were impressive. The theme park was especially fun. I like the option to pay per ride using points. We even saw a jazz band play in the atrium.
This place is the full standard for malls. I think they set the bar really high. I'm my opinion, having seen so many shopping malls falling into bankruptcy, they need to look at their playbook. This place was packed, and not just the amusement park. Yes. An amusement park in the mall. I said it. I love how every few hundred feet they have an electronic map with directions. Brilliant! I have been to so many malls in my years. This lives up to the hype. Did I mention an aquarium? The list is way too long, folks. If you're in Minneapolis MN and you have a few hours to kill. Here you go. You won't see it all, though.
