We had a quick weekend stay here. It was perfect for us. The room was very clean which is so important. What I found that worked for my family most was after we returned from our day out my husband and I were tired but my kids were not. This place has a great play area for the kids right outside your room. There were plenty of places to sit and watch your kids play with other kids. The play area is well kept and plenty of room to run. The pool closes at 9 but the fun does not. This allows the parents to rest some while letting the kids still have fun. I would definitely stay again.
The service and location was spot on! Everyone was friendly, helpful and appeared to like working there. The rooms were basic. They would have scored 5 stars for me IF the linen and the rooms appeared cleaner. For instance, the sheets didn't have that crisp, white look that make you want to climb in the bed. Besides that, the activities for kids were great. You do not need theme park tickets with the variety of options offered and all of them are included with the room.
This was my second time staying here for an overnight stay. The rooms are always clean and the price is great for what you get. There’s a variety of breakfast items for everyone and the service is great. Agustin, who works in the dining area, is always very pleasant even though both times he was seen working very hard to keep things in order and create efficiency for guests dining in for breakfast. Said at the front desk was very nice and seemed very appreciative when we had notified him that we are returning guests. Overall highly recommend staying here!
This is an excellent hotel for the price. The rooms were pristine and the grounds well kept and the fact that they have a hot breakfast impressive. Very family friendly and friendly staff. It is off a busy road so if your room is closer to the street you might hear some traffic noises but it didn’t bother us.(our Room was closer to the street and in part of the building next to the parking lot- other rooms were not and so maybe ask for a room not close to the road). If you’re looking for a family friendly place in a budget this is really nice.
DO NOT STAY HERE! There is plenty for young kids to do but overall is not a good stay. Firstly, this is far from a resort. It’s more of a motel with a makeover. They do not clean room daily, the bathrooms look horrific, the rooms are poorly cleaned and the sheets are very badly stained. The breakfast was also terrible, barely edible. Definitely not worth paying a DAILY resort fee. My shower curtain is completely ripped, there is hair in the tub and there isn’t even a mat to step on when you get out of the shower. Unfortunately it is non refundable but trust me you DO NOT WANT TO STAY HERE, even for a night.
When we pulled in, our initial thought was “oh my lord, what did we book.” We had already paid for it and no refund. I went inside the lobby and I was surprised at how nice the lobby was. This gave me hopes that our room would be nice. Check in process was great and quick. We got to our room and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it looked. Nicely decorated! It was very clean. The bed was comfortable, it has a small Keurig coffee maker. The pool area is very nice with nice sitting areas. Lots of things for kids to do with blowups and arcade. The downside – If you want to sleep, this place is not for you. There is a lot of outside noise, The walls are thin, we are by a main highway, and there were sirens all night long, loud cars, loud music. Although there are some resort amenities, this is not a resort but more of a refurbished hotel.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you are going to DISNEY WORLD! Especially if you are a family with a kid, you def need to stay here! I didn't have a kid and stayed here as a couple just trying to stay somewhere safe clean and cheap nearby Disney. I had two nights for $76.29 plus taxes and extra $59.98 for locally collected mandatory fees. With two giant beds, wide enough for full family to stay. They had basic washing soap including shampoo. It may not fancy but they have amenities outside of room for kids. Also, free breakfast! There was security guard I saw at night when I checked in. It was pretty late time after mid night but felt so SAFE. I will definitely come back here for Disney world next time.
It’s really hard to give this place a fair rating. After I book a non refundable reservation, My wife saw a bunch of negative reviews about bugs and dirty room. We tried to cancel and spent a week dreading what we might find. I was sure all the positive ratings were fake.
We made a deal. If the room was dirty we would ask for a different room. If that was dirty we would leave and find a new hotel. If we saw one bug we would leave as well.
The room was clean and we saw NO bugs. We Check everywhere and inspected the mattresses for bed bugs.
The kids loved the bounce house, pool and large play area. Breakfast was nice. Every employee we saw or interacted with cared about doing a good job. They even had a person wiping down the dew off all the kid’s slides and playground equipment, first thing in the morning.
At the end of the day the hotel was clean and well taken care of but was it was old. You can see both “wear and tear” and “pride of ownership” everywhere you look. It is clear the owner care about making it a nice place. It is either one of the nicest ran-down hotels or the worst nice hotel I have stayed at. If you are expect a 5 star hotel you will be disappointed. If you are expecting a 2 star hotel you will be pleasantly surprised. That is the only way I can explain how one hotel can have such vastly different reviews. I would say it is a solid 3 star hotel but I gave it four because you can tell they are doing everything they can to make it fun for kids and families with kids. It’s hard to find a place that has a halfway decent place for kids to play and run around.
