I'm so amazed by Macy's. Feels so grand entering into such a posh, well lighted and clean area.
Once you enter, you'll be surrounded by luxury bags and beauty products.
Lots of stuffs are on discount and if you are a member of Macy's, you'll get additional discounts.
It was a quite difficult to locate men's area.
Look at the wooden escalator.. pretty scary yet fun to ride on them.
Anyway, so nice to shop in a cold environment. Wasn't crowded cos the place is just huge and you won't bump into people.
Very fun to visit this iconic store. Large selection of things you can shop and not everything is crazy expensive, we found some nice discounted products. The staff was very friendly even when you were just looking around and not intending to shop. They had working wifi and clean bathrooms. Overall I was most impressed with the historic wooden escalators, something I've never seen before, and the beautiful flowers displays at the entrance and throughout the store that they had on when I was there.
Probably the second most famous department store in the world (after Harrods) and it didn’t disappoint.
Beautiful floral displays in the front and all around the store. The famous wooden escalators are just as you’d imagine… wooden.
Along side the high end shops within Macy’s are also some ‘normal’ shops too, with our particular favourite being ‘it’s Sugar’
Macys was an absolutely phenomenal experience. I was very happy to meander through the store and look at the vast array of products available for purchase. The staff were very respectable. I highly recommend entering this establishment.
This is a huge store located closer to the Empire State Building around the Times Square area. As you enter the store, you will be amazed by the number of floors they have. No wonder they call this the biggest Macy's store. The collection is awesome, and we were able to find what we need. The prices are definitely balanced and also to meet the New York area. This staff is friendly and helpful. I see a lot of customers around 7:30 p.m. and it looks like a busy store. We are in need of any clothing. I would strongly recommend this place to get will priced clothing.
Definitely the worst Macys I’ve ever been in. Took 30 minutes to find someone to help with a dress on a mannequin. Then another 30 minutes waiting for a “manager” to take dress off mannequin (never showed up) then a 20 minute wait to pay for other items. Cashier was working 6 hours with no break she said. Come on Macys you can do better. Ended up not buying the dress.
Macy’s is one of a kind store. It’s insanely big with so much variety that it would take days to go through stuff. We were lucky to get some great discounts in the Christmas season sale, otherwise it could be really expensive. But then where else can you get massive selections of each brands and also the last sale section in the back which can also have some great finds! The store itself is gorgeous and with enough staff to help you around! I loved it!!
This store has to be part of your trip to NYC (if you like shopping). It is such an iconic and historic shop, and it has everything. Most of the brands are there, and it is segmented in several floors. I went some time before Christmas time, and the decoration was already there. On the top floor there is an outlet with very good prices. So if you are in NYC for a few days, and don't have enough time to go to the big outlets outside the city, try this one.
