Beautiful place! $25 admission, large area to walk and explore. Seems kid friendly with multiple places for them to climb and explore happily. Also very good for adults, lots of walking along pretty paths (a million routes to take). They provide maps with guides to ensure you see it all. You can control how much time you spend there/where you go. Also a beautiful gift shop with plants for sale too. Could easily spend multiple hours there if you hit every spot and take your time.
GLORIOUS breath of fresh air with a majestic light and fountain orchestration at 9 pm on Friday. Breathtaking. I felt transported to every childhood memory, both real and imagined about tree houses, terraced lawns with genlte slopes for rolling down, mazes, and water fountains for play. I walked barefoot on lawns and down orchard lined walkways to feel free of the constraints of... EVERYTHING. I hope to come back with everyone I love one by one and for years to come.
Beautiful gardens, tons of space to roam and take everything in. Absolutely stunning conservatory with ever changing displays, I’m partial to the orchids where things get regularly switched out which makes membership totally worth it if you live in the vicinity. Food at the cafe is good. Love the Italian water garden and central tulip lined path. The main fountains are undergoing work so I haven’t gotten to see those yet.
Longwood Gardens is an absolute treasure that captivates with its stunning landscapes and tranquil ambiance. Walking through the grounds, you're enveloped in beauty and peace, surrounded by meticulously maintained gardens that showcase an astonishing variety of flowers and plants. The flowers, in particular, are spectacular, each variety more breathtaking than the last, all helpfully labeled to educate and inspire visitors.
The commitment to enhancement and continual growth at Longwood Gardens promises even more dazzling visits in the future, adding to the anticipation of each return. The gift shop is a haven in itself, brimming with unique finds that are perfect for commemorating your visit or gifting to someone special. I found myself spending quite a bit, drawn to the quality and variety of items available.
Visiting Longwood Gardens is not just a day out; it's an experience that refreshes the soul and delights the senses. Whether you're a gardening enthusiast or simply in search of a peaceful escape, Longwood Gardens exceeds expectations, making every visit memorable. Next time I go I will most definitely make sure I have more time to spend here, two hours was rushing it.
Much more fun and beautiful than I expected. Highly recommended for families and nature lovers and even anyone. Gorgeous collection of roses and orchids were my personal favorite alongside fountain shows.
Went here this spring and this past winter and loved it both times! Beautiful flowers, plants, fountains, and lights! A great place to take your family, boyfriend or girlfriend, or friends to spend quality time together and make lasting memories. They also had water shows both times I was there, and they were different each time. Definitely want to come back again when they have different plants and flowers in bloom and for upcoming events!
I kept pinching myself during my visit here. Absolutely breathtaking, tulips were in full bloom, and the whole experience was like something out of a novel or movie.
The workers were always so friendly and helpful. I came with my 14 month old and a friend, we spent probably 2 hours walking and enjoying ourselves but could have spent more had we had the time. I loved the child water play area in the conservatory!
Will come back here again, even though it’s an hour drive away.
Beautiful display, colorful flowers, the weather was perfect. First time visiting and it was a great experience. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. What makes it more unique is we also watched the solar eclipse there. ♥️ We stayed around for 4 hours and saw almost everything. It was also great to know the history of the garden and the buildings.
