Stayed at this resort as part of a trip to Orlando after spending the first part of the holiday at Disney. |The hotel is lovely and well decorated. The lobby felt clean and spacious and we received a very warm welcome (as well as pretty flower garlands). All of the staff we encountered were really professional and friendly. |The room was standard size but felt like a little bit of luxury compared to our Moderate Disney hotel (which I guess is fair as different hotel grades). |We grabbed some food in the evenings in the TukTuk market which is their grab and go. The food was actually very very good and much better than I had expected for ‘convenience’. The only thing I found weird was that a lot of the selfserve items were not priced and apparently I would have had to take them to the till to find out the cost. It put me off getting additional items because it was busy and I didn’t want to be ‘that’ customer. Odd not to price things (eg beer, cokes, wines etc) but hey ho. |On to the access to Universal: fabulous. A brisk seven minute walk or a boat ride from the hotel jetty. Made everything so accessible and just tons more fun! |Overall an excellent experience and we would 100% return here next time in Orlando.
The disappointment is real, guys. Out of the different stays I had during this trip, I was looking forward to this one the most - I wanted to end with a relaxing stay in an upscale, peaceful setting. I found this hotel almost outrageously expensive in return for value received.||Let's start with the positives! ||- The location to Universal is very nice and in my opinion the main selling point. It's a 10-minute walk to City Walk. You can also take a hotel boat there, but I think that takes longer than walking. |- The person who checked me in was competent and thorough. The concierge we spoke with was also very professional. Thank you!||The not-so-greats:||- at $500 a pop, the rooms are a little dated. But for me, the worse part is they don't feel very clean. When I arrived, I found some food bit on my sheets and a dark, easily visible stain on one of the pillowcases. It made me uneasy and wonder if these have actually been washed...? See pics!|- Maintenance/housekeeping needs work as evidenced by the above and the conditioner bottle that ran empty by Day 2 (wasn't checked or filled by staff). The bathroom sliding door handle was askew and very loose on its hinges - easy fix that indicates that not a lot of effort is put into the rooms. The little table by the window had dried food stuck to the surface. |- I called a couple times prior to my stay because I had a question on my reservation. They seemed disinterested and gave me inconsistent/not really answers to my questions responses.||As you probably know, the majority of people stay here because it offers early admission (note: during the time here, it was only applicable to IoA) and unlimited express passes to the Universal parks. This could be nice except the express passes can't be used on rides you really need it most, like Hagrid's Magical Creatures ride. Unfortunately if there's any delay in the ride at all (which is very common) it could be like us where the delay ate into our ENTIRE early admission hour and wasn't operating until 9AM (regular admission time). And from there it was STILL over an hour wait. By the time we got done waiting and off the ride, it was 10:15 AM. Early admission was 8AM. ||Anyway, the express pass is still why many stay here, which is likely why so little effort is put into the rooms despite the high price tag. I would not recommend staying here. It may be better to book elsewhere and determine the day of whether you'd like to buy express passes separately.||Last minor point: I don't know why other reviews mentioned leis because we weren't offered any at check-in. I don't know if this is still a practice.
We had another fantastic stay at Lowe’s Royal Pacific Resort during Thanksgiving weekend! This is our family’s go-to resort in Orlando, and we’ve stayed here numerous times over the years. It never disappoints, and this visit was no exception.
From the moment we arrived, the warm, tropical ambiance and exceptional service made us feel welcome. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable—perfect for our family of four, including our kids (ages 14 and 9). We especially appreciate the proximity to Universal Studios, making it so convenient to get in and out of the parks. The early park admission is always a big advantage, allowing us to get a head start on the rides before the crowds arrive.
For dinner, we enjoyed a wonderful evening at the Orchid Lounge and Sushi Bar. The sushi was top-notch, fresh, and flavorful, and the atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. The staff was attentive, making it a perfect end to a busy day at the parks.
As always, the service at the resort was outstanding. From the front desk to the concierge, everyone went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. We’ve always felt like we’re treated like family here.
Lowe’s Royal Pacific Resort continues to be our favorite place to stay in Orlando, and we’ll definitely be back on our next visit. We can’t recommend it enough for families looking for comfort, convenience, and a truly memorable experience!
We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was wonderful. Everyone was cheery, friendly, and helpful. Check-in was seamless and did not take too long. For a hotel that was busy, the atmosphere was still pretty relaxed, and we never really had to wait for the elevators. Staff was very responsive by text. We usually had our questions/requests answered almost immediately. The bed was very comfortable. Usually, I have trouble sleeping in hotel beds. Either we were exhausted each day from spending all day at the park or the bed was really nice. Room was pretty clean too (and I am very picky.)
The hotel is situated in great location. Hotel is located about an 8-minute walk to City Walk, so you really don't need to use the water taxi. It would probably take longer to take the taxi. This resort comes with early park admissions the fast pass, which was totally worth it in itself.
We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Royal Pacific! We’ve stayed at most of the on site hotels, and RP has taken first place in my heart.||||Check in was delightful. We were asked what room location we preferred, and we were given a quiet room up on the 6th floor. Really appreciated being able to choose my own destiny on that front.||||Pool (and pool bar) were excellent. Highly recommend the mahi fish sandwich. Bartenders were delightful, even making a custom drink on request.||||Walk to the park was less than 10 minutes. We were consistently the first people let through security beside Margaritaville, and as a result some of the first in line for early park admission. This was crucial during the busy Thanksgiving week. Express passes aren’t always required if you plan your days right, but man, was it a LUXURY to have them this week!||||We also spent one evening at Orchid lounge, which was lovely and relaxing. Sushi here was very good, as was the Japanese whiskey selection.||||I LOVE aventura and sapphire falls, but trust me when I say it wil be very hard to return to those hotels after experiencing what RP has to offer. For comparison, we’ve also stayed at Hard Rock, and I would choose RP every time.
We had a lovely experience at this resort. It’s a perfect family hotel if you’re planning on visiting the Universal parks. The service was all around thoughtful, helpful, and professional. We noted that every employee we encountered was really kind and helpful. One thing that I found particularly helpful and reassuring was the presence of many attentive lifeguards at the pool. That combined with all the other amenities and proximity to the parks (the water taxi is convenient and kind of fun!) really made for an easy and pleasant experience.
Sadly I was quite disappointed and underwhelmed with this hotel. I stood in line and checked in around noon with the understanding our room may not be ready until 4p, not a problem. By 4p we still hadn't received notification of our room being ready, so I stand in line and wait again to check the status of our room where I'm simply told "it's just not ready yet and hopefully soon it will be." After sitting for a while longer I decided to text the customer service number to check the status again to which I'm eventually told "good news, room is ready, please see the front desk for your new keys." So now I have to stand in line waiting for a THIRD time to finally get to our room. We get to our room which is the Jurassic kids suite and I quickly realized this place is not worth the money we've spent. The door to the kids suite cannot be opened by a child. A very strong adult must open this door. The drawers in this room are broken. The shower reaked of what I can only describe as a mixture of wet dog and mildew. The rooms are quite antiquated and outdated, especially for their very "modern" costs. Rooms don't seem to be very sound proof either. I can hear every other door slamming shut, the elevator dinging constantly, and the outside music is so loud I can hear it over the TV in my room. The ONLY good thing I have to mention is if you are staying in a club or suite you have access to the club lounge where they offer complimentary breakfast and snacks/drinks throughout the day which is a nice convenience, hence the 2 star review instead of 1. The location is pretty nice also but sadly those 2 things will not be enough to make me spend my money here ever again.
Please save your money! This hotel has a really great location and they offer a fast pass for the hotel room stay. We actually paid for 7 adults at club level rooms and still they did not give two shits about a single one of us!
Their management is absolutely clueless. When asked even the simplest question, they just simply say they are following "policy". I was there during the hurricane and they decided to close all the amenities including the pool early without pointing to a single policy or offering any sort of compensation. I asked for what they were offering for entertainment and there was absolutely no answer, just told to go to the ballroom.
There was no reason to close down the pool deck early or to stop anything from the hotel and they had no excuse. The manager could not explain anything and she only said to say they are following policy and are separate from the parks, even though the parks had no such restrictions.. she could not point to a policy.
They have not been helpful overall or even remotely considerate unless you pay more money to them. Their "rainy day" activities included shopping at their gift shops and spending more money, AI have never seen a place try to take advantage of a situation like this. Their management was equally as clueless
Save your money and stay FAR AWAY... They don't even remotely care about the guests..this is actually the first time I stayed here where I felt like a commodity rather than a guest, they should be ashamed
