Famous icecream place in Savannah! I got two flavors- the Savannah Socialite and Lemon Custard. I was not the biggest fan of the lemon flavor, but the Savannah Socialite flavor was delicious. My boyfriend got one of the floats and it was also very yummy!
The interior is very cute. I’m Coke loyal so I love seeing all of the antique Coca-Cola decor inside. This place has been open since 1919 and it’s awesome to see a place so well-kept over the years! Great atmosphere with cute indoor and outdoor seating. The service was also great, everyone is very kind here!

Stepping into Leopold's felt like stepping back in time, with its charming movie theater-themed decor evoking a sense of nostalgia. The variety of ice creams, cookies, and other delights on offer added to the place's allure.
The staff at Leopold's were exceptional - friendly, kind, and incredibly patient despite the bustling crowds. Their warmth and hospitality made our visit all the more enjoyable.
As for the ice cream itself, it was simply divine. We opted for the double scoop, choosing the classic flavors of cookies and cream, and butter pecan. Each scoop was rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor, leaving us craving more.
Without a doubt, we will be returning to Leopold's on our next visit to indulge in their delightful treats once again. If you're ever in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by Leopold's for a taste of pure nostalgia and delicious ice cream.
Long lines, but it moves quickly. Another cashier would help but maybe long lines are how they advertise. The ice cream is perfect and they have some unique options. I recommend eating inside to enjoy the texture since it melts fast.
I had visited Savannah Georgia before. I had never tried Leopold's before. It was Friday night. There were at least 40 people in line. I had waited about 22 minutes. My turn had arrived. I had ordered a scoop of the Japanese Cherry Blossom and Banana Mode. The Japanese Cherry Blossom had a very creamy texture/ the cherry flavor was there/ the sweetness was just right! The Banana ice cream was on point. The banana flavor was just right. The creaminess complimented the ice cream. What a wonderful experience!
A friend from Savannah told us about Leopold’s so we had to try it out. There was a long line and we are not opposed to waiting in line for great food! The ice cream was delicious ….creamy and smooth with lots of flavor. We had thin mint and cream and coffee. Both scoops were really good.
Would have loved to give 5 stars but the service was dreadfully slow. This could be the southern pace and since we are from NY we like things snappy! The staff was chit chatting with each other, and while there were five or six of them behind the counter, only two were actively waiting on customers. All in all, it was great ice cream.
Hands down one of the best ice cream parlors I have been to! It’s also one of the local attractions! The walls boast tons of autographed pictures of the celebrities who visited this place. The parlor gets crowded really quickly, but it’s worth the wait!
It was GREAT… the queue was long and not much shade so have to stand in hot sun but Icecream made up to that… we got the Coffee and Rose petal.. coffee was nice and strong… Rose petal was very Refreshing and Amazing… I ordered Rose petal Milkshake… it was Fabulous… Must try Flavour…!!!
There is going to be a line, but it was some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had in my life!! Well worth it on a hot summer day! We waited in line about 20 min. I got the double scoop with peanut butter chippy and lemon custard. It was very delicious! Seating is limited with the influx of people, just be aware.
