Really good ice cream. My wife loves ice cream and this place took the crown over her go-to, back in Houston. Definitely loved mine. I went with a two scoop of vanilla and mint chocolate chip. The Mrs went for coconut and caramel swirl. Both were amazing. The friendly staffer bringing everyone the water and talking to us was so cool too. He's definitely the life of the party there. Sweet young man.
Nice work and thank you leopolds!!!????
I'm not sure how we lucked upon this ice cream shop while on our sisters' weekend to Savannah. Oh my God!!! What a gem. I must admit, I'm kind of an ice cream snob. This ice cream is probably some of the best I've ever had. We tried many flavors on our various trips, and all were rich, creamy, and flavorful. We wound up going back every single day during our visit. Well worth the trip each and every time. I still dream about this ice cream. There is usually a line, but it moves quickly. It's well worth the wait. The story behind the place is interesting. The whole decor is very cool. Savannah has many, many interesting places to see, but Leopold's Ice Cream is not one to be missed.
Not a long wait for ice cream in October. I remember coming by this past June and the line was out the door. The flavor, Cookies was great! Had a bit of an oatmeal flavor (which is my favorite cookie flavor).
The Savannah Socialite was a little over rated in my opinion.
Good ice cream! I got the vegan strawberry and it was yummy. Bf got a chocolate with a waffle cone and he loved it! A little more than we expect for ice cream but it was super delish and the staff was super friendly
Holy cow this is good ice cream! Honestly, it might be the best ice cream I've ever had. It's creamy, but not too much and the flavors are really vibrant. They let you try flavors, which is nice. I got the peppermint and it was heavenly. The place is also adorable and old-fashioned!
Probably the best ice cream I've ever had. I got their coconut ice cream for a little something outside the box and was thoroughly surprised. I also love how it's a history museum in itself. There are many pictures and blurbs to see all over the shop.
A bit pricey but that’s to be expected for homemade and where it is. The ice cream was indeed delicious. Cool history. We had very mixed experiences with the staff. Javon (sp?) was extremely friendly and spoke to us multiple times asking how everything was. If a manager reads this I hope he gets a raise he truly seems like a rare gem of an employee. Behind the counter all were friendly except one guy seemed grumpy and not very friendly and guy checking us out was borderline rude with his grumpiness. But overall not a huge deal very cool spot and I would definitely go back. We were there Nov 22 at 2:25 pm.
The entire atmosphere and service was outstanding handing out water in the hot sun standing in line. I have had ice cream before but this was the best I have ever had. I had the pistachio ice cream with real pistachio in it and candy cane ice cream with chucks of green and red peppermint. High recommended stopping in for some ice cream!! I will be back!!
