Was here on 11/25. Was highly recommended. They weren't wrong. I got the tenders with corn and mashed potatoes and gravy. The tenders were very juicy. The mashed potatoes and gravy tasted very homemade and the corn was sweet and very tasty. The throwed rolls were big, fluffy and piping hot. Those were some excellent rolls. I did like the pass-around sides and them going around serving it out. Will definitely come here again next time I'm in the area. Thanks so much!
After years of wanting to come here I finally made it and was not disappointed!! I came in and was seated right away. Didn't have to wait for a table at all!! The prices are really decent. I ordered the Shrimp Dinner and it was good. I didn't eat any rolls or sides because I didn't want to get full before my meal came to the table. Food came out very fast. I really enjoyed my visit here. Can't wait to come back ????
This place is amazing! The food was so good and the servings were more than generous. Every staff person I talked was so friendly and seemed to be enjoying making their rounds to the tables. This was such a joy for me to experience as a trucker. These places are not so common anymore for those of us out on the road. I absolutely will be coming back. It is also worth noting that they have limited parking for trucks and it is very clean. There is no idling after 10 pm. Please my fellow truckers, if you stop here, respect the rules and keep it clean so we can continue to enjoy this gem.
Truly a piece of Americana that shouldn't be missed. From live piano music, to the vintage decor, the atmosphere is great.
Service is polite and friendly. Food portions are generous. Between the rolls and pass around sides, if you leave here hungry, it's your own fault.
I make it a point to stop here whenever I'm driving through Missouri.
Lamberts was everything I didn't know I needed on my long journey home. Stepping in was pike stepping back in time because I had only been once and I was too young to remember much about it but I know the throwed rolls made a huge impression on me! Dion in the gift shop let me gush about my kids while we picked them out some souvenirs. She recommended the Beef Pot Roast.
We were seated right away and Star took great care of us and we found we had favorite side dishes in common. I did have the beef pot roast and it was phenomenal.
After a little while Maxine came by pushing cart piled high with the biggest cinnamon rolls I've ever laid eyes on. Can I just say that Maxine is like family I didn't know I was missing until we met. She helped me find the prettiest rolls in the bunch to take home to my daughters, whom I promised to bring back to meet her. This pit stop rejuvenated me in so many ways and I cant wait to go back and do it all over again!

It actually deserves a 5 but it was just so crowded you could barely hear.
Food was good and our server, "Mo" is very good at her job. Very pleasant and a great smile.
There was a 30 minute wait to get in, then 15 or so to order but everyone was working their tails off.
I've been ro places like this all over the country! This place is leaps and bounds above them all. Good food, good service and good atmosphere. Some of the best home style food I've had in a very long time. As a truckdriver it's hard to find places like this that have all of this and a place to park my rig. I will definitely be back very soon I hope.
