Very good Spanish food.
Everything was very well made.
The beef stew was tasty. Very tender beef.
The roast pork was also tender and flavorful.
The sides were yummy. No complaints except the rice was a little underwhelming. Over a good place for some Spanish food.
Went for lunch during the week and service was quick. The food was very tasty with very generous portions. We had the Bistec Sandwich and the Ropa Vieja Sandwich. The bread was nicely toasted and crunchy. We had the fried plantains as a side. The drinks: Mango and Passion Fruit smoothies were super refreshing! Finishing the meal with a perfectly moist Tres Leches Cakes was a great way to end this experience.
This place is the best of Tampa bay restaurants secret. The food is delicious and the service is fantastic. Everyone is great here to make your dining experience the best. Cuban coffee is sweet and the fresh baked bread is soft and hot. Yuca and plantains make a great side choice along with authentic black bean soup. Enjoy!
What a time we had today! This food was absolutely amazing. I not only was surprised by the prices, but the amount and quality of food was AMAZING. I will be back because my tastebuds are already missing the roasted pork.

My sister loved this place and took me here, on a long ago visit.
I stopped in today, and little had changed.
I even had the same waiter as ten years ago, (which says good things about management ).

3 entrees, 3 cocktails and two desserts totaled about $60.00.
This has to be the best value in Tampa for a sit-down lunch with good service.
I highly recommend LA TERESITA.
I was excited when I arrived at this place. It has the look and feel of an old school Cuban diner from the 80s and 90s. The buttered bread that came out right away was exactly the way it should be...warm soft and buttery. So far so good...but the way I rate a Cuban restaurant, unfortunately, is with the basics. The rice and black beans here were average at best. Definitely edible but I was not impressed and therefore almost ruined my expectations. The croquetas were decent but definitely didn't save face for this place. Chances are I probably wouldn't eat here again because I need great Cuban beans when I get Cuban food.
On a positive note, I didn't have many other dishes so there may be great food here but I didn't get a chance to try everything. Also the service is fast and efficient.
Ok- first off- the ox tails were OFF THE CHAIN!! The yellow rice was $!

If you know which dishes are good, you'll be very satisfied. However, their baked chicken and Cuban sandwich is dry. The sandwich itself is dry but so is the meat on the sandwich. The only reason I order it is because it's late and I wanted a Cuban. I'd never order one fun them again. They're yellow rice & black beans are exceptional! Their cafe con Leche is also great!
