I visited for the first time today with me and my son and we had a blast! We got on the train that takes you on a tour around the entire boardwalk which was really nice and definitely kid friendly! We played various games at different stands and they made it very easy for the kids to win prizes. We also went into Galaxy Arcade and played some video games. It was nice and cool outside a great experience ????
Such a good sea side park with easy access. Rides for all ages. Cheap all day passes. Boardwalk bullet is amazing. Many shops free entry. Short lines. Visited between 11am to 4pm right after thanksgiving.
Kemah is the only attraction in Houston that is fun and memorable. It's a great spot with decent rides. It's also a great value for money. I hope they expand in the future and add more fun rides for adults as well.
Great small theme park on the ocean! The staff were very friendly and there was a small yet really fun selection of rides for our younger kids (4 and 7). We had a blast!
Great carnival place by the water! There are lots of things for kids and adults to do, from carnival games, to aquarium, to restaurants, and many more.
It was Halloween theme when we visited, and many visitors were dressed up to partake in the costume contest.
It gets busier the later it gets since it is very hot during the day. Expect the traffic and parking to be pretty bad, so it's advised to come earlier in the day.
I visited in December, and the place was practically empty. Most stores were closed, and I only found one public restroom available. The Boardwalk itself is very small. Not the best tourist destination.
One of the greatest areas in Houston. I visited Kemah two times and we enjoyed each visit..
Starting from the parking lots which was available and easy to access and cost only $ 15 a day..
The area is beautiful around..and there are a variety of restaurants and coffee shops..
Many options of Rides and for kids too. I recommend the train which will take you through to explore the area..
Overall it was a worth visit and fun..
Boardwalk seem to transport us older folks back in time to a more simpler and wholesome time, carnies, fairs, monster rides and cotton candy. You get that nostalgic feeling here. Clean, nice views, right on the water, 2 great restaurants, wood roller-coaster, etc.
