Best WLM Reviews

You definitely need to bring some patience due to the crowds, it’s absolutely worth the wait. The place is a bit chaotic inside, with about 8 serving positions. The hand-carved pastrami and corned beef sandwiches are genius in terms of flavor. It’s not a spot for a cheap meal, but the experience and the taste make it a must-visit.
You can easily share one sandwich with someone.
This could possibly be one of the nicest things I have ever eaten.
We went to Katzs on our first night in NYC.
The service and ordering process definitely doesn’t work on a tired brain - very confusing and frustrating if you have never been before. Although, it is simple after you know how it works.
The food is absolutely incredible, by far the nicest sandwich I have ever had, and maybe the nicest piece of food I have ever had.
Perfectly cooked pastrami, amazing mustard and phenomenal bread.
I wasn’t a massive fan of the pickles but they did help cut through the fat of the pastrami.
The setting and decor feels amazing, like a slice of history. Photos and old signage adorns the walls and really adds to the atmosphere.
The prices are relatively high, but you do get what you pay for.
Brilliant.
George was a fantastic cutter. It's such a special experience. Plan to wait, but totally worth it!
You wait to get in, then to order, but then George asked what we wanted and put up with all of our asks, sauces on side etc. He laughed and played with us, while taking his time to expertly craft our food. Pastrami sandwich is awesome, Pastrami Reuben yummy, soup and knish were worth tasting. We planned ahead to be two meals ????
4/23/24 Excellent. Surpasses the hype. Had the pastrami sandwich, on the juicy side: amazing. The price? Do you get the best of something when you go to other restaurants for $27 dollars? Coffee yum, cheesecake was average. My server was excellent friendly and on point. Good place for solo diners.
A New York institution. Expect queues but it moves fast. Love the pastrami and also the corned beef sandwiches. Do note portions are huge and one sandwich can feed two if you are not a large eater. Some other Jewish food available like Matzo balls, chicken noodle soup. Of course, having been the location for a scene in Harry Met Sally makes it even more popular!
One of the best Pastramis I've ever come across. The serve good portions. The sandwiches are warm and fresh. Service is quite friendly. Went there on a weekday at 5pm. Had no waiting time or any long queues. An amazing place.
This was a very fun experience! From the meat cutters to the busy atmosphere. Get there early as there was a line. We waited for about 45 minutes at 10;30AM on a Saturday.
The price is a bit high but two people could share a sandwich since the portion is so large.
The line to get in was super long but moved really fast. We chose table service and waited a little longer than if we had stayed in the other line. We weren't clear that if you went through the 7 cutter line, you had to find your own seat. Our server John helped with recommendations and was super fast. We each got half a sandwich and soup. Food was amazing!! Definitely an NYC bucket list.
