This place was BEAUTIFUL!! I would come here for the atmosphere alone! I found it online while searching for places to check out while i was there. The wait was totally worth it, which we weren't sure of cause the line was so long, but it did move quickly. This would be the perfect place for a reception even. I loved that they did not do hamburg. Their meat was chicken or shredded beef. The salsa was great, and you can buy it in jars to take home.
This restaurant is probably the most famous in Fort Worth, attracting a crowd of largely non-Hispanic patrons. Despite offering a limited menu, the food quality doesn't quite measure up. I primarily visit to treat my guests to a unique dining experience rather than for the food itself. While the cuisine isn't bad, it could benefit from some improvements. The restaurant features both indoor and outdoor seating, with the outdoor patio being particularly pleasant in good weather. Expect a lengthy wait outside before being seated. Although the restaurant is highly acclaimed, its food falls short of authentic Mexican cuisine. However, I appreciate the effort to honor Mexican culture through the building's design. Interestingly, the servers, mostly young prickly white women, don't quite fit the expected profile for a Mexican restaurant, but everyone has their own preferences. Worth a visit, but certainly not a go-to.
Its cash-only policy can be inconvenient for foodies who don’t know ahead of time.
Took my fiance for his first time on our weekend getaway to a place I have loved since I was a kid. It did not disappoint. Yes, there was an expected wait; however, we were in the shade the whole time and they have several coolers filled with complimentary cold, bottled water. This was a very nice and much needed service that they sure don't have to do. Once we got seated, our server was instantly at our table. Her service was probably the most outstanding service I have ever had. The food was amazing as always, and I'm convinced they have the best cheese enchiladas around. The sauce is unlike any I've had before. Our food arrived quickly, which is just shocking with how many people were being served. This business has service down to a T and they operate with amazing efficiency. None of the workers looked unhappy to be there and they were all helpful. The atmosphere is amazing in the courtyard and even in the Texad heat, it is comfortable due to all of their fans, portable ac's and the beautiful shade trees. The landscaping is tremendous, along with their beautiful flowers, plants and fountains. If you've never been, you must go. I know my fiance can't wait until his next visit. Joe T. Garcia's gained another fan today. Thank you for a job well done and having such magnificent efficiency in serving your numerous customers
This place is a quiet corner in Ft Worth and took me by surprise. Upon arrival there was a line out the door. The line was for outdoor seating. Being just 2 we were allowed to be seated inside immediately.
The menu really doesn’t exist which is pretty cool. Enchiladas or Fajitas. We chose one of each. Combo on the fajitas. Everything was brought promptly and perfectly executed. Laci was our server and did a wonderful job of paying attention to us and attending us.
The food was good and appropriate with the kitchen machine they have there.
This place is amazingly huge and can be a wonderful place for special events. Please visit. I recommend .
Absolutely delicious food. Phenomenal service. Stunning atmosphere.
You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, because everything is amazing. Our waitress (Vanessa) was the kindest ever!! VANESSA NEEDS A RAISE!!! Also, unless it’s raining, definitely eat outside. It’s so pretty out there and I’m pretty sure it makes the food taste better:)
We attempted to come here twice during a busy time and Mother’s Day! The waiting line was so long in the hot sun…but let me say this, IT IS WORTH IT! Good food, the best atmosphere, dressed tables, great service and margaritas flowed from our 2 pitchers! We had steak fajitas and enchiladas on a weeknight limited menu. Who cares!!! It was delicious! We had fun. We had a waterfall fountain. Outdoor lighting. Cool breeze. I never wanted to leave! Jordan was our server and she made our experience fun. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I can’t wait to share this place with my family when they visit Ft. Worth. The Big City Cowboy visited our table to share a song! We chose Spanish since we were enjoying a Mexican meal. Erik Casados is so good!
Recently heard about this restaurant and made a point to visit it while in town. Absolutely stunning environment! The outdoor seating just keeps winding further and further back and there are beautiful water fountains. We were worried about eating outside in the summer heat but there is plenty of shade and large outdoor Port-a-cooler fans blowing cool air on you! Things to know: this place is CASH ONLY so be prepared and the Mariachi band will visit your table and play a song (in exchange for a tip).
The staff was incredibly professional. Everyone was busy like bees in a hive. I did not see one employee on their cell phone, or ignoring a guest. Joe T. Garcia's has perfect customer service.
Try the homemade tortilla soup!! :)
The grounds of the restaurant, pretty flowers and decor are gorgeous! If you show up on a Friday you might be waiting in line for a long time.
