Nice staff and appearance was very nice. My only concern is the sheets on the beds. The way they make them the mattresses are exposed and your feet are always with everyone else that has stayed on these beds. Maybe just a learning for the maids
We went to eat Athens Bayview cafe..
We met some of the nicest service staff.
There were 2 that are real shining stars there.
Dennis and Diamond.
After talking with them it was like talking with my own son.
With thus great bunch and great food ..your a winner already .
Thank you all for a great birthday dinner .CAN'T WAIT TO VISIT AGAIN
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the rooms were clean with comfortable beds. The staff was friendly, though security could be improved since key card areas weren’t always monitored. I enjoyed my first visit to Mississippi, and the area exceeded my expectations. I'd recommend staying here. Very positive experience!
Came here for a birthday trip and my ID expired on my birthday. I go in the casino and the security at the entrance tells me they have a 30 day grace period for expired IDs. I try to come back later tonight and I see people just walking in so I start walking and the security guy Josh stops me and asks for my ID. I give it to him and he says it's expired and there is no grace period policy. None of the several other people that walked in didn't even have their IDs checked. Honestly just stay at a Holiday Inn the rooms are much nicer. The rest of the hotel is really nice but the rooms are not. They're clean but there are a couple of fleas in our room. The hotel is giving luxury but the rooms are giving motel. Save yourself the money and just drive to it from a cheaper hotel. All in all, very disappointing put a lot of money to travel here for the casino and did not get to even play in the casino. Probably won't get this opportunity again either. If I do I'm going to the Hard Rock
Absolute nightmare of an experience at this hotel. A fire broke out on our floor, the 18th floor to be exact during our stay. I am physically disabled and had my service dog with me in my room. We evacuated and were told we could not use the elevator even though I explained I was disabled and were told to use the stairs. We had to walk down 18 flights of stairs and many guests trampled my service dog and I barely was able to get down the stairs. I spoke to 5 people at the casino and they were extremely rude and offered zero help. They had zero compassion. Do not stay at this hotel!!!
While we did enjoy the hotel itself, the restaurant on the top floor was probably one of the worst I have eaten at. Even in caparison to huddle house. And to pay over 200.00 for two people and it not be edible really made my blood boil. I would not say anything nor would my boyfriend because it was not the wait-staff's fault. I ordered the baked sweet potato. It looked like I cooked it myself and just slapped it on a plate. The butter and cinnamon tasted like dish soap. My steak was too rare and my boyfriends was too done. I will say the salad was good but other than that, we truly felt as if we paid 200+ tip for a salad. DO BETTER.
I loved the fitness center, it was amazing and had all new top notch equipment. The pool was huge and you could get drinks poolside. The employees were all so friendly. Bayview Cafe was great, many things on the menu we'd tried and it was very affordable. Our room was clean and quiet. Loved the gaming, great selection of slots. After three days we still left with more than we brought, always a good thing. We had a great time.
There was no valet. Tables and machines were tight. I guess they're making up for covid, storms and whatever else they can think of. Used to go there frequently and it was great.
