I finally tried In-N-Out Burger and get why it’s so popular. Fast, exceptional service, tasty burgers served hot, solid amount of food for the price, no wonder it’s a hit!
•Double-Double Meal ($10.50) 4.5/5: classic! Baring in mind it’s takeout, it’s great quality. Burger wasn’t too salty; personally, there was more cheese than I’d like, but many disagree. A soft toasted brioche bun, fresh crunchy lettuce, juicy tomato, this gives In-N-Out the upper hand over competitors. Their sauce is flavorful, yet not too heavy, like a better Big Mac sauce.
•Fries 2/5: sad to say, I didn’t like the fries. They were starchy, dry, and over-salted.
•Store 4/5: easy to find. Clean. Decent amount of seating, but prepare for busyness!
$10.50 for a big tasty burger, fries, drink, it’s a tough deal to beat! I’d go to In-N-Out over Golden Arches any day. Better quality, fresh ingredients, and not nearly as greasy.
I visited this In-N-Out during my layover at LAX and had a great experience. My food was fresh and delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere was amazing. I ordered a Double-Double with fries and a Neapolitan shake. This is a perfect place to plane spot for aviation enthusiasts! My layover was 3 hours, and the 15 minute walk each way left me just enough time to visit and eat without having to rush. This can be one of the busier locations, especially near the airport, but if you hit it at the right time you won’t have to wait long.
Plane spotting is awesome, chewing on an animal style burger, including fries and a drink, will make you fat and happy. One of the best places to enjoy a quick bite. Of course the quick bite depends on how fast you can eat, the wait is usually 15 to 20 minutes for your meal. One thing is for sure, your meal will be hot and fresh.
Don't forget to ask for the plane spotter discount, no you won't get a discount but the expression of confusion of the person taking your order is worth asking for it.
Loved our stop at In-N-Out right after getting off the plane. We miss this place! Huge lineup at the drive thru and busy inside, too. Orders took about 20 minutes but were worth the wait. Fast to order. And self-serve pop/soda station. We found a table on the patio outside in the gorgeous weather as we waited for our food. I even like the heavy cement tables and chairs as they don’t tip back and forth while you’re eating.
A fairly average burger that's made better by its urban lore and how cheap the eats are compared to other places around LA (or other burger places in general). If you've never been, it's worth stopping by to dip your toes into the myth at least once. This location is conveniently close to LAX (easily reachable during a long layover) and does brisk business. In fact, I would say watching them handle a constant stream of orders was what amazed me most here.
Otherwise, what you'll find is a fairly standard, not-too-seasoned burger that by itself (and without a lot of extra dressing) is probably better than your neighbour's picnic grilled burger...but definitely not better than your dad's. The bun is a little over done too, and the fries while skinny and fun lack the flavour of a good shake of salt or just a thicker cut of potato. In the end you won't wait long for your meal, and you can be off to the next bit of sight-seeing.
(My perspective is definitely skewed having been spoiled by a Shake Shack just minutes from my home. Also, this is a great, great location for AV Geeks to catch a few fast ones going by!)
Awesome burgers like always. Staffing super friendly and nice. Locations are always packed. It’s too popular.
This locations rocks for its views.
Air plane spotters watch out: this is a men’s dream! If they would serve beer this location would be heaven! ????
Views are amazing. ????
Tourist attraction. Always crazy busy which could mean it's worth the wait...That is debatable. Staff extremely friendly and hard working, props to them.
Ask for extra pickles, gives burger flavor. Patties are pretty thin. Lettuce, tomato & onion were nice and fresh. But I think the allure of the place is getting a "burger"
Novelty at best.
This is a great location for In-N-Out! It’s right next to the airport landing viewpoint. We visited on a busy Saturday evening. The drivethru is very tight when they’re busy if you have a big truck. For it being a busy weekend night the line went quickly. Customer service was great as always as well as the food hot and delicious!
