Best WLM Reviews

I had a problem with my comp room, both the ladies at the front desk treated me like trash. I asked if I could check the app real quick to find out what’s going on and they immediately told me I couldn’t be inside, I said okay I’ll step outside. Not even 30 seconds later I had task force in a group of 5 come ask me my name and if I was staying there. They told me the ladies at the front desk called them. They were upset because not only was I a paying customer of the casino I’m also a veteran and I was being treated unfairly. They made me walk to the casino and at that time I just called a ride. What had happened was there was a price change in the deposit which used to be 20-50 dollars and now the new price is 100+ so I had to call my bank so I can prove it was me to transfer my money to my other account. Shame on them, I will be back and when I do I will need to speak to a supervisor, I will also be contacting my road rebel associates because I also work in this career field and travel frequently. The two women at the front desk are the epiphany of the image we don as black people be when we step out into this world. Yall are the reason nobody likes to do business with us and the sad part is you’re probably giving yourself a pat on the back. Well I’m that guy that pushes back, nice to meet you see you soon. This is not my first rodeo.
Bathrooms could be updated a touch and the window could be cleaned better but the rest of the room is great. Best AC I’ve ever had in a hotel room. Great view also of the river and arch. Here for nascar race 2024 and we are excited
Less than stellar experience, front desk staff was surly and not customer friendly upon check-in. Three of the four elevators were broken. Despite being a non-smoking room it smelled of cigarettes.
I was however reasonably priced and located close to our destination. The room AC is very powerful, which is great on a StL summer day.
Rooms are outdated and run down. I had to get a new key every time I came back to my room, sometimes more than once, before I could get one to open my door. Every time I went to the front desk about this (about 10 times over a 2 night stay) they had no recollection of who I was or what the problem was, and kept saying it was probably because my key was by my phone or something even when I brought new keys from the desk directly to the room without ever taking them out of my hands and they still wouldn’t work. Extremely irritating experience and tons of time wasted at the front desk with employees who don’t care about you.
Really nice casino floor. Plenty of machines and large, roomy floor. Nice dealers and staff. They had all the new machines too. *Did not stay in the rooms.
RUN don't book here!!! One elevator out of four working. No pool or hot tub. Fitness center has three dumb bells in it. Everything is filthy and smells. You are charged a "resort" fee for no resort facilities. Room service doesn't arrive before 9am- to the hotel, not to your room! No food. Rude service. The front desk apologized for the "50 year old hotel" and were familiar with the complaints but couldn't do anything. Asked for coffee and front desk said I had to come to front to pick up because no workers before 9am. Casino dead. You cannot use a credit card without an ID at the Starbucks there or the pizza place. Ordered 3 pieces of pizza and while I was waiting, I said, can you please make it a whole pizza (since it was 3 bucks more) and the lady at register rudely said, "You already did the transaction" even though I was waiting for the pizza! Shady area, no good staff, rude workers, filthy rooms. Overpriced rip off. And the "owner" must have hired an agency to write fake reviews to boost business. Don't believe them. You will regret you ever stayed at this place. Our group was there for a convention and we refuse to book here next year. RUN Away from this miserable place!!!!
An absolute disaster! Check-in took more than an hour because there was only one person working the desk who kept disappearing into the back for several minutes at a time. Two out of 4 elevators broken. Room smelled of smoke, sheets had 2" holes in them and bathroom was filthy. Room cleaning is only upon request and they need 24 hours+ notice. WiFi was not working, several machines in gym broken down and yet they have the nerve to levy a $20 a day "resort fee." For what? I've traveled extensively and this ranks amongst the very worst hotels I have ever stayed at. There are plenty of other options in St. Louis. Try them and steer clear of this one!
Basic maintenance is seemingly never done at this location. Elevators, cash machines, rewards kiosks that have been malfunctioning for months with no attention. Completely revamped their casino floor lounge only to tear it out and replace it with a new rewards desk a couple years later. The restaurants are nice although one in particular closed with no signs of anything coming to fill the space and they will likely never have a buffet again. There are better places to lose your money.
