I didn't stay the night but I did notice the machines randomly switching to silence at times when I received nothing for a spin that was obviously a payout. Thank you so much for reinforcing how my immediate safety and personal concern is of no moral or ethical issues for you. I love how you screw me on top of being screwed. I'll always remember.
Love the casino! We’ve been to Ramseys and Morton’s, as well as the other good places in the building. Only recommendation would be for the drink servers to interact more. I’ve been more than 5 times and sat for hours and I’ve never been asked if I wanted a drink.
Rooms were not the cleanest. The bathroom had hair on some things. Water damage that had been poorly remediated. Smelled like smoke and my grandma's old couch! Speaking of the couch in my suite, it's about as comfortable as sitting on a rock! As i walked to the casino area. They had several flat panel TVs mounted as you walk through the hallway. 5 out of 8 of them were broken as if somebody walked by punching the screens out! Why leave them up like this? Last but not least, the place seems full of vagrants occuping the restrooms and halls. As well as apparently taking what one would call a ho3 bath/shower. IDk! You can clearly see that this place has seen better days! Wonder if the company that is leasing this place for $23 million a year is aware of its current condition? Yup! That's right, I did some research. Again, that's $23 million per year. Maybe their favorite color is red? Due to, I'm quite sure that's all they ever see with each quarterly financial report! Good luck, guys! You most certainly need it.
The Horseshoe Casino is slipping bad.
Take some pride in ownership. Look at the hallways on the way to the main bathrooms, dirty floors, chipped cracked tile, hallway needs painted.
I would fire whomever is in charge of property maintenance.
The restrooms smelled, were not clean, and the bathroom next to the poker room, was closed both days I played there.
No action in the poker room, only one table and I played for eight hours.
The poor cocktail waitress couldn't provide hot chocolate on a cold day Help them out, that is a popular item.
Go visit more successful casinos. Take note of the little details.
I will change my travel route in the future to find a better place to play. Very close to becoming a dump.
I have been to a lot of casino hotels. I have to say this was by far one of the worst hotels and casinos I've ever been too. 2 staff members one working days and one working over nights were pretty rude. The hotel is extremely rundown. Only 1 of the 4 elevators was working. Then this one broke down. So had to walk up 5 flights of stairs. My room had no remote. But yet 2 tvs. My bathroom was dirty. I had coffee but no coffee pot. No microwave in the room. Basically they are pretty much forcing you to get in the casino. Which only 1 place was opened. The casino is by far the worst I've gone too. They have a lot of slot games. But of the same exact ones. Absolutely stupid. If I could give 0 I'd give it this. Their were 2 staff members one days and one nights that were very pleasant to talk too. However the late night girl scolded him for something. While I was stand there. Very unprofessional.
Finding the checkin for our room was stupid! It is across the street and the signs outside do not lead you the right way. That being said the hotel was fantastic, casino was great
I would never stay at this Casino/Hotel again. This hotel has four elevators up to the rooms kitty corner from each other, and only one works, and that’s only sometimes because most of the time your key will not make the elevator work. It makes for a very long walk to your room. The in room coffee was horrible! And the coffee maker was not cleaned out. When you leave your room to go to the casino, all of the entrances into the casino but one, Maybe too, but we couldn’t find an maybe two, but we couldn’t find a second one, are blocked off inside and outside. You have to walk approximately 10 minutes from your room just to get into the casino floor. Some of the rudest staff I have ever encountered. Especially three particular women in the cashier cage. There were five people back there and 6 of us waiting in line for quite a long time because only two were taking people. The other three just stood there, talking, laughing and ignoring us. I will say the gentleman who finally helped me was great. On a positive note, the inside lobby was beautiful. We are smokers and our smoking room with a little living room on the eighth floor was very nice. The bathroom was beautiful, and the shower was great! Unfortunately, for this place the cons way outweighed the pros.
The smell of poop in the casino and steakhouse is overwhelmingly strong. it’s disgusting. this place has gone so down hill, might as well close it down and put something actually half decent connected to ramseys and the four seasons.. this place needed to be closed a LONG time ago.
