Best WLM Reviews

Though right on the edge of the Tenderloin District, this property still felt safe. A nice respite in the city. The check-in staff were excellent and very helpful. Parked my truck in the garage, which was safe and had no issues. Ceiling is very low in the garage however - if you have a lifted truck, you probably want to park somewhere else. All-in-all, a great experience.
This by far was one of the BEST hotels my family & I have ever stayed at! The service was amazing the rooms are fabulous, the view from the balcony was exhilarating! The 46 floor is a must visit for an outstanding view of San Francisco. Close to many things central to San Francisco!
We stayed here for 2 nights as a stopover before flying to New Zealand. Wish we could have spent more time there! Excellent location for Fisherman’s Wharf, Pier 39 and Cable cars. The hotel is modern, clean ,very comfortable , great sleep. The buffet breakfast is truly wonderful- you name it they have it!! Staff are very friend welcoming, great fire pits and comfy seats if you fancy an evening drink outside.
Great central location to a lot of city activities; right along the Big Bus tour (stop #6) and a short walk to Market Street to catch the F line streetcar or a number of city buses. Also lots of great restaurants nearby. Hotel itself is large and holds a lot of big events (2 conferences while we were there). Rooms were nice enough- pretty standard. Be aware that you may have room credit for the in-hotel restaurants; we didn't realize that and were charged an astronomical price for a breakfast buffet.
I've been coming here for about 15 years for business meetings and this place has gone seriously downhill over the years, I had planned my two days tightly for my meetings and built in room service meals so that I wouldn't have to waste time to go hunting for food and wait in lines. I needed to work. But there's no room service even though they say they offer it. Also clock was at the wrong time and for some reason they use complicated clocks so that I couldn't set it (I wouldn't even care but I don't want to look at the clock in the middle of the night and be misled). Also they only gave you 1 tiny toilet paper roll and they don't provide extra so I had to waste time calling down (Hilton is hoarding toilet paper?). And iron didn't work. I know these things are small but they add up. And I don't mean to sound petty but coming here and paying high prices you expect the basic conveniences of a great hotel so you can get on with your plans, but everything about this place was inconvenient. Next time I'll stay at a different hotel, and as an officer of two associations that contract with this hotel for our conferences, I'll be sure to rethink our contracts. The staff that are here are great. I don't blame them. But I get the sense they are understaffed and that the Hilton managers did the numbers & calculated they don't want to hire more or train properly.
We were there for a large conference. Check-in was smooth. Rooms are classic hotel rooms. Our room had a decent view of downtown. They are getting close to needing a little facelift in terms of age, but are well-kept by a delightful cleaning staff.
The queen beds in our room were very comfortable. The curtains allow for excellent darkening of the room. The room was quite quiet despite general, normal city noise, so that was great.
Enjoyed our one night stay here, overall a good experience. Room was on the 16th floor, large, clean with everything we needed. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We watched the sunset from the bar on the floor 64 while drinking a very nice local Pinot Noir.
Had a great conference experience. My coworker had a bad experience with one of the front desk clerks as we were trying to get our room marked as tax exempt as we work for a public University. Luckily the clerk I was working with was wonderful! He handled all of our rooms and took our paperwork with no issues.
