Best WLM Reviews

I had a fantastic stay at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square! The Mobility Hearing Accessible Tub 1 Bed room was well-equipped and comfortable, making it an ideal choice for both accessibility and comfort. The room was spacious, clean, and provided all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel’s location is perfect, right in the heart of San Francisco, making it easy to explore the city’s famous attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting San Francisco!
Stayed at the Hilton Union Square for a weekend visit. This is one of the largest hotels in the city and does a lot of conventions. Rooms are comfortable and typical Hilton standard. Rooms are clean, although I had to request housekeeping after my room was not cleaned after 2 days. Great location and close to BART so getting to SFO is super easy. Should be noted that when staying, service workers were on strike so the hotel was using temp staff for most roles. With that in mind, I would definitely stay again once the strike is over.
I have visited this hotel regularly for more than 30 years and prices have increased, the quality has not. My room had a small window facing a corner wall 3 feet away, one of the lamps was out of order and in general I did not feel this was worth 350$ per night. On the sunny side the shower was ok and the personnel helpful. Noise from the strickers.... well I had been prevented, little harm to me and good luck to them. Unreasonably priced breakfast but happily I got it for free thanks to a voucher I was given when arriving, it was a cheap and good buffet breackfast after all..
Perfect location, very clean rooms with the best showers... great water pressure and nice stone tiles! The pool is nicely heated so it's comfortable for swimming day and night Every single employee will greet you with a smile and a hello when you pass them in the hallway. This is really lovely. Of course the location is perfect as well. You cannot go wrong staying here.
I love this hotel ! I visit my aunt every year from Scotland and like to stay at the Hilton Union Square as it has everything I need as a solo lady travelling. The staff are all very friendly especially Lepe on the front desk. I always ate breakfast (take away) from Herb Kitchen, freshly made latte and a croissant. You can buy anything in there, so handy. My room had a balcony which overlooked the city, nice to wake up in the morning to that view. Because of the strike I never had housekeeping but that was fine with me as I was just there for 4 nights. When you are inside the hotel or room you don’t hear anything from the strikers so there was no impact on me, I love shopping and this hotel is 5 minutes walk from Union Square and Macy’s so returning from my aunts I shopped in Macy’s, I never felt unsafe walking back to the hotel. Thanks to everyone for a lovely stay, see you next year.
As soon as you step into this hotel, you're welcomed by a warm and inviting foyer. The staff is incredibly kind and well-informed, making your stay even more enjoyable. The hotel features three towers, with Tower 2 offering particularly spacious rooms. The grab-and-go breakfast is perfect for a light morning meal. Plus, the location is unbeatable—you're surrounded by fantastic restaurants, a large mall, and the serene Union Square. With such great value, I highly recommend staying here.
A Dismal Stay at Hilton Union Square||I honestly don’t have enough words to describe how utterly disappointed we were with our stay at the Hilton Union Square San Francisco.||From the moment we arrived, we were greeted not by a warm welcome but by the loud, intimidating sound of ongoing strike action right outside the hotel. Around 50 people were banging metal on metal, making it impossible to think or even hear ourselves speak. As we approached the entrance, the noise got even louder, clearly meant to make guests uncomfortable. What was even more surprising is that the staff inside made absolutely no comment on this situation. No apology, no explanation—just an attempt to act like everything was normal, when it was anything but.||The lack of staff due to the strike severely affected the quality of our stay. In our 8-night visit, our room was ‘cleaned’ only once—and that was after we specifically requested it. As an apology for the lack of housekeeping, the duty manager offered free breakfast for the four of us. Unfortunately, the breakfast was abysmal. Cold, rubbery French toast that looked like it had been sitting out for hours, and stale pastries. It was honestly the worst breakfast we’ve ever had.||Adding to the frustration, when it was time to check out, I wanted to settle the bar bill with cash but was told that this wasn’t possible because the cash machine behind the front desk was broken. It’s unacceptable that a hotel of this supposed caliber couldn’t accommodate a basic request like this.||What’s most disappointing is that the hotel didn’t inform us about the strike action beforehand. It feels like they’re willing to accept poor reviews rather than address the obvious problems and provide compensation for the substandard service. Management is clearly aware of the issues caused by having no staff, yet they fail to take responsibility.||To the management reading this: If you truly care about your guests’ experience, have the decency to inform them of the ongoing strike action before their stay. Allow them to make an informed decision rather than dealing with unhappy customers who were blindsided by the lack of service. It’s about common courtesy and transparency—something this hotel seems to have forgotten.||Would not recommend and will not be returning.
Great property in great location. Checked in there after a disaster at another property across the road. Central location to explore the heart of San Francisco. Staff very helpful, special mention to Javier from Barcelona on the Concierge Desk whose knowledge of the area and best places to eat was spot on !!
