Best WLM Reviews

We were looking for a quick getaway from Los Angeles and it was wonderful. We stopped at the Tejon outlets on the way up and we were at the resort in no time. Everyone was so nice, the resort was very clean, and the Steakhouse was delicious. We stopped at the bar before dinner and the bartender made a great martini! Most of all it was quiet. We will definitely be back...thanks to everyone there.
We have stopped here many times prior to visiting SoCal or when returning home. We find this Harris Ranch Resort a clean and comfortable place to stay. It provides all of the amenities a tired traveler would need. The resort has outstanding service while providing a great experience. The staff is outstanding and friendly and take their jobs seriously. In addition to the the resort, 3 restaurants are available and country store all within walking distance from the resort. Also available are gas and EV stations while having a fast food BBQ and store for the passer bys. I would really recommend this Jewel for anyone to stop, eat, and relax.
So many times we have driven past Harris Ranch Resort in Coalinga, CA and not stopped. A friend of ours told us about how his significant other used to work there many years ago and that we should pay them a visit & we are so happy that we did. What a treat to get off the 5 freeway and relax at Harris Ranch. We had a great breakfast there at the restaurant. Later we took the time to walk around the store , look at all those cuts of prime beef and pastries! Treated ourselves to a dessert for the remainder of our drive to northern CA. They also have a hotel there so maybe one day we will stay there as well. Looks great!
Harris Ranch is always a treat to visit. The atmosphere is always a feast for the eyes, especially at Christmas time. I love browsing in the gift shop to find that special unique gift or special goodie. The meat shop is superb, and the restaurant is always a pleasure to dine in with great food and great service. I highly recommend making this your traditional stop on HWY 5.
Good food, quick and friendly service, beautiful decor. We actually bought a prime rib while there to cook for Christmas dinner. A great find. We will make this a regular travel stop !
This is a review of the restaurant at breakfast. The food is delicious as usual. If you are not a big eater and are with someone else, I suggest splitting a meal. As well as reducing the cost of breakfast, it was just enough when on the road and having no access to a refrigerator.
Harris Ranch is our go to family reunion spot. It's location is conveniently accessible for our family and friends to easily meet up yearly. We adore the spacious pool area and love the addition of the outdoor pool bar. Edgar has continued to give us exceptional service with every stay. The staff is warm, friendly and gracious. Being able to just walk across the parking lot to the resaurants, bakery and store is a bonus. We also enjoy the fact that we can order food poolside. Our time spent at Harris Ranch is treasured!
From San Jose to LA, this is a good place to take a break to stretch my legs and walk my dogs. The bathrooms are always clean and available.
If you're hungry, the restaurant has the best steak. The menu is very pricey.
There's a little gift shop with specialty foods, decorative plates, and other unique household things.
I was pleasantly surprised to see a mini Brighton boutique. Brighton is a jewelry store that sells quality jewelry, handbags, shoes, luggage, etc. Everything is expensive.
I don't have an EV car. However, if you do, they have 98 Tesla charging stations. Even during Labor Day weekend, there were at least half available for the next person.
It was incredible to see. I've never seen that many stations in one place. I read somewhere it's one of the largest in the world. Tesla is leasing from Harris Ranch.
Now, I came across this article about the charging stations being powered by a small diesel plant with a link to a YouTube video showing it.
