Best WLM Reviews

We really enjoyed our time here because we made the best of it, but we had SEVERAL issues. The room smelled of mildew and there was mildew in the shower. We dined at Hells Kitchen. It’s was amazing. If this review was just for the restaurant it would be 5 stars. I also go a massage at the spa that was great. Unfortunately we were frustrated with several issues. It felt like they charge for EVERYTHING. I’ve never paid for parking at a RESORT with a wide open parking lot. Then we could unload our own luggage because “only valet” can use the carts. Another money grab. Our main reason going to this resort was for the pool which was beautiful. The adult side was great. But the lazy river was very disappointing. Who has ever heard of a lazy river with no floats?! If you want to enjoy it you’re forced to purchase $40 a piece poop floats… And then they charge for AIR to inflate them. As much money as we left at that place, you’re seriously going to charge me $5 to inflate the $40 floats?! We purchased 3 and all of them broke within the first hour of using them. They wouldn’t give us a refund, only an exchange and then the exchange floats broke too. Lastly we wanted to add another night to our stay but they were “full”….. The website says it has 1087 rooms and it was NOT busy so I don’t know who the rooms are used for.
The most filthy disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in. It has stains everywhere. The bathroom door is freaking sticky. You can see clearly they didn't scrub the shower. It is absolutely nasty. The service is absolutely manure. Everyone is so rude in this hotel and they're racist. Don't book this place. Don't throw your hard-earned money here.
Spent an average of around or above $350-$400 a night on a weekend there. No room cleaning if you stay less than a few nights, which I did not care much about. But when we asked for fresh towels (only on the 2nd day) they said its max 2 per day! seriously? If I had paid a hundred dollars a night or less, maybe I would not have any complaints. And the same at the pool. Only one towel per person, no more! How can they live with themselves charging that kind of money per night and being so freaking cheap with a few towels??!!! so stupid. Oh, BTW not one single person at the door to get your luggage. you have to leave your stuff on the side and go inside and ask for someone. Again, maybe no big deal, if they did not charge so much.
My husband and I met some friends at this resort for a long weekend. I have to say for the price I expected way more. Our room was sort of clean but had some broken furniture in it. It was near the pool, so the entire building smelled like chlorine. The casino area was kind of fun to walk around but not that great. We couldn’t get into any of the onsite restaurants. And the main part of the resort (which is also a casino) was packed with people and full of cigarette smoke. It certainly was not worth the extravagant resort cost that we paid. The only saving grace was the pool area. We paid for a cabana and hung out by the pool two of the four days we stayed. My husband did end up getting some kind of skin infection while we were at the resort and his doctor expects it to be from the resort pool, but we do not know that for sure. All in all, my husband thinks that if you are looking to party with a bunch of people it might be a good place, but I would not recommend this resort. There are just so many better ones in California.
The hotel was great. It was clean and fresh . Lots of room . I loved the fact that there was a shower and a bath tub . They were separated, and the bath tub was huge i could actually lay down . As for slot machines it was average definitely an array of games to choose from.
I was expecting a bit more from what I heard, maybe less outdated rooms, and better food. It felt like traveling back to the 80s (which isn’t a bad thing) If you love gambling and smelling cigarettes in your room than yes, this is for you. The room was clean, the TV was SMALL around 30” felt like watching a laptop screen from your bed but at least the shower was clean and elevators worked. Pool is big, Just can’t take the smell and sound of the machines (but again I’m not a fan of casinos)! ????????‍♀️
We stayed at this Harrah’s to see ZZ Top and Tim Allen. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We had a great stay. However …. There was a total difference between our concert experience for ZZ and Tim Allen. Pretty sure it was the same staff working both events. However rudeness and attitudes were extremely present at Tim Allen. We had experiences in a NOT pleasant way with a cocktail server named Regan working the night at Tim Allen. Glad we had good experiences before encountering him or I am sure we would never go back! He totally needs some “fun” training or perhaps a different job!
I had an adjoining room with a friend. After retiring to our rooms, but just before sleep at 10:30pm I went into my friends room to say goodnight. The adjoining door accidentally closed and locked. |I immediately called the front desk and explained my predicament. The young lady told me I had to come down the elevator out to the front desk to get a new key. I explained I wasn't dressed. I only had thin pajamas and no access to my clothes in my locked room. She kept insisting that I had to come down and I was saying 'But, I can't because I'm in my pajamas and can't walk out into a busy casino down to your lobby because I have no clothes to put on. After several times putting me on hold and her just coming back to the phone saying that it didn't matter whether I was dressed or not, that I had to still go down to get the key because it was hotel policy, I asked if I could please send my friend down. She was in bed but got up, dressed and only made it halfway because two very young male security personnel met and escorted her back up to the room. |When they arrived, I expected them to open my door and then I could show my i.d. and the problem solved. But instead one of the young men, the short one named Jesus, started angrily saying that he didn't appreciate that I "yelled" at his front desk girl. I told him that I never yelled at anyone. Instead of letting me explain he was aggressively saying that I did yell at her because she had just told him I did. He was ready for a fight with me. I'm 4'10", 95lb 67 year old lady. I asked him why he was so angry he said because no one yells at his front desk girl and that he could kick me out right now. |It was upsetting and made me feel obviously threatened so I just shut up and waited in the hallway, in my pajamas, while he spent over a minute communicating on his walky talky. Finally he let me in and I showed my I.d. and they left. |I couldn't sleep all night but knew I had to wait til the morning because I wouldn't get anywhere that evening.|I'll do a follow up after I go down and talk to the hotel manager on duty this morning.
