Lost all my money, roulette casino machine was glitching the entire time my ticket printed then wouldn’t accepted it back in the machine after I hit jackpot. Only 1 live table for roulette. Restaurant prices ranging starting from 15$ & up. Pool closes early. No microwave in rooms. Bathtub stopper was broken. Blah. I want to rate a 1.5. Hotel is beautiful for the most part and staff made it 3 stars. Probably won’t stay here again.
Staff was nice overall everyone from valet, customer service, security and restaurant servers. All very nice and friendly!!
I booked 3 days here for my friend’s birthday and we only ended up staying for one night. The hotel was okay, the room had spoiled milk in the fridge and old clothes in the drawer when we first checked in. Everything was good until we tried to enjoy the pool at this venue. The security was harassing my friend since she would not flirt with him and the unfortunately ended our trip early and we still haven’t received a refund from the hotel for the extra nights we did not stay.
My recent experience at Harrah’s Resort was deeply disappointing. The cleanliness of the property left much to be desired, and the lack of attention to basic hygiene standards was alarming. The room I stayed in felt unkempt, with visible dust on surfaces and a sewer odor that hinted at poor maintenance. In shared areas, like the hallways and casino floor, I noticed trash left unattended for extended periods, further emphasizing the lack of cleanliness.
The situation was compounded by the behavior of the staff, many of whom seemed indifferent or outright discourteous. Simple inquiries were met with curt responses, and any attempts to address concerns about cleanliness were either ignored or met with excuses. For a resort of this reputation, I expected a much higher level of customer service and professionalism.
Overall, Harrah’s fell short in both hospitality and sanitation. I would not recommend this resort unless significant improvements are made to cleanliness and staff training. There are better options in the area for a comfortable and welcoming stay.
Used to be my favorite hotel in AC but it seems like you have to pay for everything now. Had to pay about $228 in fees after waiting about 30 minutes to check in since the line was ridiculously long. The cigarette smoke is strong throughout the whole casino. Paying $25 a person to access the pool after paying a daily resort fee is crazy. Outside of the negatives the service was great throughout.
Hotel room in the renovated coastal tower was nice but it is not luxury like the description states. It is well renovated. Feels nickle and dime on things. Spa, pool access. Not family friendly. Early mobile checked in is $15 but at the kiosk it is $30. No idea of the price difference and customer service not willing to adjust. All in all I guess typical AC hotel experience.
This was our first visit to Atlantic City. Our room was in the Waterfront Tower was renovated and clean. We loved the view of the marsh and rivers. The casino was large and had decent drink service. The restaurants were extremely pricey but it might be the way it is in the area. The food was nothing to rave about. On Friday evening the check-in line was almost to the entry door and only two people were working the desk. I would have been very upset if that had happened to us when we arrived. Over all we enjoyed the visit. I don't understand others leaving bad reviews about the hotel being so far from the boardwalk. Do you not look at a map of where you are going??
Room in Laguna Tower was small, but nice enough and in a comfortable location. Hotel food options weren’t great - 3 burger places or fine dining $$$. I wish there were more options without leaving the premises. Check out was a mess. There was a huge line to check out at the kiosks and most of them were frozen or slow. Line for valet parking to get our car back was huge too. Otherwise, hotel was pretty clean besides the smell of cigarette smoke throughout the lobby.
Very nice hotel. It was our favorite hotel in AC until we found out. At the end of the trip, you get charged 20.00pp to use the pool. The pool is fun, but the website is tricky it states the pool is an included amenity. Then the Mgr found somewhere on the website under FAQ that it said there is a 20.00pp charge to use the pool.
