Stayed at the Harrah's for the Memorial day weekend Fri-Sun. Arrived at 11am and we were able to check in our bags, while we got lunch and explored. We were off the Valley tower-elevators were close to front desk, Starbucks, and monorail. Room was clean and spacious with a little seating area , big mirror, and a mini vanity. Shower is open with no curtain nor full door to close. Note keep curtains closed to keep room cool. Housekeeping was fast after requesting extra towels, through the text messaging system. Keep your key card with you during the evening and late night. You will need to scan to select your level on the elevator. The only down fall were the waitress's at the casino when playing the slots. Would walk past and not offer anything. Bring CASH for the slot machines, ATM charges $10 for every withdrawal. This location is prime! Right next to the LINQ promenade, walking distance to Caesar's palace 5 min walk, Planet Hollywood 10-15 walk or even using the Monorail 10 min to MGM. It was a great price through the Caesars rewards we will be returning.
Hotel has been refreshed. Rooms are decent. Showers suck. I know they needed to install flow rate control shower heads but they pretty much useless taking a shower... the food options are insanely priced. Example a 20oz Pepsi is 3 bucks in the room hallways, 5bucks at gift shop and amazing 8 dollars at food court which has had a portion closed that used to be out go to for fresh sandwiches. You cam always go to Ramsey's and get a beef wellington for 83 dollars. Food prices and options are so bad that I won't be staying here any longer after probably coming here for over 30 yrs. I bought 3 meals from food court and 3 Pepsi and it cost 92 dollars. It's crazy expensive. So sad. Workers are still the best and do thier best to help. So recap no cafe, no buffet and outrageous food and drink prices..
So far I am writing after one night. Check in as many said was like a used car buying experience. Front desk staff was unfriendly unapologetic and deceitful. ||Paid to reserve an upgraded deluxe strip view of which I tried to confirm was where I was being assigned at check in. I pre registered on the app to check in when I received the email the day of, went to the kiosk when I arrived and went through that then instructed go to the desk and wait in line again. I could tell something was up because the worker had to get somebody else to come over to take care of my reservation. She had to make a call to the manager and then we moved forward. I specifically asked twice about my strip view. He ignored me a couple times and then proceeded to tell me about all these extra fees. ||Went up to the room and noticed I was facing the parking garage. Went back down walked in line for another 20 minutes being ignored. Finally got a manger who proceeded to tell me that there were no rooms that I had paid for and that when you book despite being charged the upgrade there is no guarantee you will get that room. He said it is the fine print and that there was nothing he could do that night. ||He did say he can get me in a room type I reserved the next day. That is today so will see how that works out after I wait again for service at the desk and then hopefully move my stuff. Very off putting first impression and the two desk workers I had were not transparent and downright deceitful about the situation and could absolutely care less. ||Great job Harrahs putting your workers in that situation. I am sure they have to deal with a lot if angry people with how you manage your business. Don’t get upset at customers if they feel slighted and upset. ||When you secure a room months in advance and your rate is based on that upgraded room. That room should be there when you check in. If I order a car with upgrades or a large pizza and pay for it but what I end up with is a medium pizza or car without the add one I paid for that is not right.||Stay tuned for part 2 to see how the room switch goes today.
Only reason it’s not getting 5 stars is that the rooms are beyond bare! No refrigerator, no Microwave and no coffee pot. I assume this is to force you to buy food and coffee since there is no where to save it. The hotel and rooms are extremely clean, perfect place on the strip. Tons of parking in the structure. Friendly staff, very helpful. The pool was amazing. Would stay here again. And highly recommend.
The customer service is horrible. From the gate. They charge $50 for early check in and the room was still dirty. Stains on the sheets. Dust on the dressers and window seal. Stains on the headboard which can be easily wiped with a treated rag. Feathers under desk like they didn’t vacuum. Lines are ridiculous. Didn’t feel like standing online for an hour to change my room after a 6 hour flight. Housekeeping took 4 hours to bring new bedding and towels. No extra toilet paper. No fridge. Check out the front desk guy was non empathetic. Claimed I used something from mini bar and charge me $37 more at checkout. I will never stay at Harrah’s again. Location and price was great but that’s what they say. You get what you pay for
It has been a few years since my last stay here. I was very happy with everything. The room was perfect and had a great view of the strip. Housekeeping was excellent every day I was there. The person at the diamond desk for check out was very pleasant and professional. Thank you all for making it a great stay!
I was very pleased with our stay here. We stayed for 5 nights and it cost us next to nothing. Thank you Caesar’s Rewards. The check in and check out process were seamless. The room was updated and comfortable. It wasn’t the cleanest I’d ever seen, but it was by no means dirty. You cannot beat the location of this hotel. Plenty of food options on property and plenty close by. I would absolutely stay here again.
Be aware of the resort fee, it was $200 for 4 nights. The guy who checked us in was unfriendly, definitely did not set a good tone. The room itself was fine, bare minimum, no fridge or water boiler. Our room was right next to the elevators, poor noise insulation so we can hear people walking and talking as well as the elevator doors opening and closing. The only thing I liked was the proximity to the Strip.
