The hotel itself is still a great place. Good food options. Great spa. And it is one of the few Harrah's properties where you feel like you are in a real hotel, not a casino hotel. But this is the second time that my request for a mountain view wasn't honored. In fact my room looked out on a roof and 15% of the sky. Fortunately the weather was nice and I would frequently sit outside by the creek. And the room never got serviced during my 3 night stay. But this property is probably the best in an area which is wonderful vacation spot so I will be back.
At first i had a blast at Harrah's Cherokee casino room was huge for the price and smelled freshly cleaned had all the games you could want to play even some that Vegas doesn't have anymore the staff especially the craps pit boss manager was very nice the food amazing everything was going so well we were planning our next trip before we left but now for the bad part that makes me never want to return first off a minor inconvenience was the check id every time you enter the casino floor even if they just seen you leave but the worst thing by far that turned this fun time into a nightmare is while there we caught covid and was never offered a mask or even told it may be a concern a few dealers wore masks so maybe they were working while sick but definitely not worth this awful virus we had both shots STAY AWAY!!
The staff is very friendly and helpful.|The room is great. I just ordered breakfast from room service and it was really good. I love the poker room. There's always a lot of action. Plus I like playing Roulette. Stop by Harris Cherokee casino and you will not be Disappointed, fun in the mountains.
To be fair it was better than expected. The dining options were plentiful and quality.
Rooms can get overpriced for what they are.
The casino will absolutely take your $( but you anticipate that anyway)
The music venue is an excellent!!!
Did not stay at Harrahs only went to the casino. The table minimums are too high. They were all 25 to 50 dollar minimums on Friday night and were 25 even early on Saturday morning. Played more roll to win and bubble craps because of this. They now allow smoking in an enclosed area but every time the door is open the smoke comes out into the casino. They also allow set up a smoking area outside in the most scenic part of the property overlooking the river between the 2 buildings thus ruining this area
Staff was accommodating and nice. Rooms were perfectly clean and neat. Bathroom was spacious and very clean as well. Everything was stocked well including toilet paper. Plenty of towels. Overhead shower is SO NICE. Big mirror, mini fridge, comfiest beds ever, and a lot of hotels don’t have comfier beds than the room I stayed in. Pillows were so fluffy, I wanted to ask them where I can buy the same ones. Checkout was so easy, just called front desk to check out in the morning and DONE! Nice little reading nook area. Direct access to casino and dining area. Lots of choices but as the night went on, only dessert, pizza, burgers were open. Only caveat is that the place is so big and parking lot as well, that after you park, it was confusing to find which way to go in order to get to the hotel area, so I wished they put signs up so when people get off the elevator, they wouldn’t be confused.
The rooms have been clean and comfortable and always had nice and helpful staff. The prices are decent for a 4 star hotel so I definitely can't complain there. Actually, rephrase... Amazing prices! The location from where I live in Newport, TN doesn't take all that long but the road is curvy and more curvy so be safe. It's super dangerous on that highway. Drive slow and pay attention. Don't drive there high or drunk please! I barely make it sober. Jeez. If you get car sick then good luck because bring a barf bag and take Dramamine beforehand or you will likely regret it! There are two FREE parking garages for the hotel & casino guests and yes it's free if you don't decide to pay for a room and only stay to gamble or vice versa of course. There is room service available within the hotel for guests, which you have to pay for obviously when they deliver the order to the room but also there are many other options for a quick bite around the outside of the hotel and casino but still fairly close by such as Wendy's, McDonald's, Taco Belle etc. There are multiple gas stations and plenty of other stores around the same area and so much to do in Cherokee in general.
My husband and I drove from Pigeon Forge to Cherokee to visit the casino. Easy parking and entrance to the casino. Staff were friendly, and we visited for a few hours. Free drinks were a nice amenity, and we did win some money which was also a plus. Nice selection of slots and table games. We walked around the resort and checked out what it had to offer, very nice. Would consider coming back to stay or visit.
