The payout rates on the slot machines are AWFUL. Despite extensive play, I rarely see any winnings. As a regular at this casino, playing various denominations, I've never hit a significant jackpot despite a considerable investment. The payouts here are noticeably lower compared to other local casinos, to the point where the slot attendants seem to walk around all day without ever hand paying out to players. The machines are also a little outdated. The casinos nearby have great machines, but for some reason the slots here are not very entertaining. They used to offer free drink vouchers when swiping your loyalty card, but now there's a surcharge, making the "free" drinks not actually free.
The hotel is nice, although the sliding bathroom doors never seem to close properly and don't lock. The only aspects deserving a 10/10 at this casino are the cleanliness and the restaurants. Chop Block & Brew is amazing! The food is definitely worth the very lengthy drive, even considering the TERRIBLE traffic getting to Maricopa! However, the playing is not worth the drive anymore, I will be sticking to other local casinos.
Arrived at hotel at 3.pm & attempted to check-in. Advised that there would be an additional $35 fee[automatic & non-refundable] prior to a 4pm check-in. I asked clerk if I could check-in now & pick up room keys at 4pm--was told NO!, would still be charged early book-in fee . Nowhere on my printed confirmation or 2 welcome text messages from the hotel manager was there any indicated check-in time nor any advance notice of this policy. Additionally, received text with an option to check-in prior to arrival. [Will they charge you this $35 fee if you use this feature?]. Returned to check-in counter at 3:56pm, was told to wait in line until 4pm. As somewhat physically disabled,I walk with a cane, I asked if there was any seating available as I waited- was told not nearby. Although told at check-in about this additional early check-in fee, this seems to be a ploy, by Harrah's, to obtain an extra fee from each guest. [ Might as well return to the old "Resort-fee"] Stayed in a handicap accessible room. Room was large & comfortable. However, the "roll-in" shower has a 2 " curb , is quite narrow & a seat. [QUESTION : HOW IS ONE SUPPOSED TO ROLL INTO THE SHOWER?]. Ate dinner at the AGAVE & although a limited dinner menu, food was tasty & service was fine.||Would NOT stay at this property again, nor, at any other Harrah's. ||EZ Traveler
Great casino & resort
This is my second time here. So far it's been a good experience. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The casino is clean and tidy. The rooms are nicely renovated. Also big and spacious. The restaurants are very good also.
I recommend this place for everyone.

Friendly staff, good portions at Agave and machines were not too tight. Pool was nice and all areas seemed really clean. Staff was accommodating when we needed a change with our day bed rental. Anna at the Rewards Desk was awesome!! Even won some $at Bingo. Robert at Bingo has a great personality.
It is a bit of a drive for me, but the rooms are great. Clean and functional, updated and in good condition. The bed is actually comfortable, and there is hot water.
The casino is fun and they have a huge variety of machines. We had some luck with a few of them, nice walking out with at least what you came in with.
Restrooms are always clean and in functional order, and they are spaced so that you don't have far to go for one.
Service: I haven't tried their restaurants, so I can't speak to those, but every employee we came in contact with was very helpful and kind.
Amazing place to stay. This place is gigantic. Not much of a gambler but slots are always fun. Nice choice in restaurants on the property and the room was beautiful. We lacked for nothing. The fire pit was a great way to relax after long travel day. We are already planning another trip.
We had a room in the "resort" area (around the pool) that was large and comfortable. Our room did not open to the pool area but had a patio on the outside. It was quiet and comfortable.
There is plenty of parking and good restaurants.
The staff here is very friendly and we enjoyed our time here, especially since we did well in the casino.
Check in at 4pm anything earlier they charge you extra fees!! Absolutely no drinking fountains anywhere in the hotel or casino. I was even charged 1 dollar for a plastic cup of water at the grille. Food at the agave restaurant was good and the service was excellent. Only place in the hotel that I would say that about. I paid 131.00 a night on the weekend for a conference special price and found the same time frame on the internet for 81.00 a night. First time I stayed in a Harrarh resort - I would think twice before I stayed at their ownership hotels.
