Best WLM Reviews

Would stay here again. Great customer service, great location, ocean views, great pool with swim up bar. Plenty of delicious food choices inside the hotel. A ton of activities each day to keep people entertained. The casino was a blast and had old and new machines to choose from. The rooms in the platinum tower were a bit dated, but opened roughly 20 years ago at this point. They do have a newer tower to choose from that has updated rooms. Drinks are provided if gambling.
Negative:
When we got to the hotel around 10:30pm to check in there were 3 receptionists. We were being helped by one guy that was still in training. Another receptionist had to assist him through the check out process but he kept messing up over and over. We were there roughly 35 -40 minutes just trying to get our room. We were already tired from a long trip and wanted to just get to our room. That was a bit annoying.
Positive:
Hotel was exceptionally clean. Husband and I booked the King deluxe room with oceanfront view. It was VERY clean and the bathroom was HUGE! The casino was also clean - only downside is they closed most of the drinking bars early. We eventually found a section where they were serving alcohol and managed to get a couple of beers. We played some games and didn't experience any disturbances. It was fun.
We will definitely be back and stay here again. Maybe check in will be smoother next time.
We did not stay here we just stopped in the casino to play the slots. Very nice place, $10 free play when you sign up for a players card. The waitresses were attentive and would bring you free drinks while you played.
The location was good in that that's where our large group was staying for a Golf Tournament. Beyond that, it was an awful experience.
We found out we needed an additional night and my husband called to book it. They said they were sold out and only had a room available for the extra night in the Platinum Tower. We booked it and just planned to change to the Royal Tower for the reminder of the trip.
The Platinum Tower was okay. Cool power shades -- wasn't really a fan of the glass door to bathroom and how dark it was in the room overall.
But at least that room didn't smell like smoke too badly.
Check in took nearly an hour. And then we were told they couldn't add my name to the reservation since my husband made it via the call center originally and we'd need to call back so I could check in the following day.
So my husband called --- and after some back and forth was told to come BACK down to the desk. Where it was not a problem at all to add me to the reservation.
The next morning we got up early and went to check out of room 1 -- we were about to ask if they could hold luggage in the back when the person helping us informs us: we can go ahead and check into the other room right now. It's clean and ready...
Hmmmmmm, they couldn't book us the room before but it's ready at 6 am? We did appreciate being able to drop our luggage on the way out the door.
The Royal Tower -- our room smelled like cigarette smoke and weed. The carpet felt slightly damp. There was popcorn on the floor. The shower glass had soap scum all over. The shower had three shower heads, but only one worked -- and, of course it was the overhead one.
The towels were stained and so used you could see through them in some spots. (I requested new ones and they were brought up quickly)
We were woken up at 3 am by women physically fighting in the hallway.
Anything that entered that hotel had to be washed --- even if it didn't go near the casino. Everything smelled like smoke, including our luggage.
I have no idea how this property has such a high rating. It's tired, wore down, service wasn't good at all.
And it's expensive!
Very cool hotel. Loved the room, amazing view of the Gulf. Glass shower was great you can shower while seeing the beauty outside. Only negative thing if you like daily room service you have to make sure you ask for it. If not you will not get it. The Casino is a good size with lots of slots..and tables. Several different food choices inside also. Very clean also and friendly staff. And it's right on the water. Beautiful pool but was to cold to go in the time I was there. Definitely a do again.
Did not like the way I was treated at check in. Need to have a large area (any area) Non-smoking. Buffet needs to open a few days during week. Room was comfortable but sink drain was very slow to drain and shower head did not work properly. Table games and sports book were good.
Can't beat the on property offerings for food. Love the comp system, won a few trips but of course I lost most of the time. These super nice facilities are not built on the backs of winners. My host was cool, games were all fine. I mainly play craps and love crapless craps but they rarely open that table.
Went here while visiting Biloxi to eat at the amazing Hard Rock Cafe. Service was so good we left a $20 tip. The place is pure excitement. The rock and roll memorabilia left me awestruck. The server we had for our meal left us with the best service I personally have ever had in any restaurant. I cannot wait to go back and stay in the hotel. The stop here made the whole trio worthwhile.
