8 Hard 8 BBQ came highly recommended by friends, and it certainly lived up to the hype! The food was outstanding, with the brisket stealing the show with its tender, smoky perfection. The sirloin beef was also fantastic, and the sausages didn't disappoint either. Unlimited beans added a hearty touch, and the atmosphere was buzzing. I loved it so much I went twice during my short Dallas visit. Don't miss out on this BBQ gem!
We came for some traditional Texan BBQ in the middle of Dallas, the food was good for this kind of restaurant (the meats more than the sides and desserts). The service was friendly and fast but the line was long so it took >45min to order on a Tuesday night. The atmosphere felt local / traditional. Could come back.
Went here for an early lunch on a Sunday when traveling for business. It was extremely good. Loved the brisket, chicken popper, potato salad and cobbler. Had the slaw and sweet corn with jalapeño, would skip that next time. Save more room for the brisket. Typical bbq order at the counter and get your food on a tray. Outstanding. Will do again for sure.
Upon reaching the restaurant guided by Google Maps, I was drawn in by the thick smoke emanating from it, a sure sign of authenticity. I got beef brisket and two poppers to go from Hard Eight BBQ. It's the best among the three brisket BBQ joints I've tried in Texas! The brisket had an authentic smoke flavor and the dry rub seasoning was perfect. While I couldn't stay to dine in and review the atmosphere, the staff were friendly during my short visit. I already miss Hard Eight BBQ!
Amazing food and amazing staff! Some of the tastiest bbq I’ve had so far! The add ons were awesome with baked beans, different bbqs at no additional cost. The sides were delicious as hell too. The Mac n cheese, coleslaw, banana pudding, etc. all very tasty. My favorite had to be the sausage and ribs so tender and juicy.
Had some family visit from out of town and wanted to get them some TX bbq. I hadn’t been in a year or so. We ordered the shrimp and chicken poppers, ham, sausage, ribs and brisket. And as we were walking inside I saw SMOKED BOLOGNA on the pits. So I asked for a slice of that. We enjoyed the meal, and visiting with family. Would definitely go back!
Delicious and so tasty foods. I am an International traveler and travel to the USA a lot and have been to Dallas many times. I tried many places but I keep on coming back to this place for the buttery ribeye, jalapeno corn, pork chop, brisket, ribs, and baked potatoes! My family is addicted to this place every time we visit Dallas, Texas, we must stop here. This terrific incredible restaurant offers a cool ambiance, comfortable and clean with friendly staff. Sometimes I miss the food when I'm not in Dallas. I was like, let's do the review since I love this place so much. Highly recommended!
